The latest info seems to point to a targeted attack by an organised gang. It looks like there was not alot he could do to avoid what happened to him, would have been hard to see it coming if this gang was experienced at this sort of caper. Wrong place at the wrong time from the look of things.

I would guess that it was a separatist movement that kidnapped him, trying to drive the PGA tour out of Hawaii.

Well certainly surveillance video of some kind will be able to unravel one of the two versions. Its not like the question here is whether he was one block from the bar or two blocks from the bar.

Being found one block from the bar or being stuffed in a trunk and driven 6 miles from the bar, thrown from the trunk and kicked by homeless people - those are two pretty different versions.

Truth always comes out in the end.

Dude was wasted, got separated from his buddy, and got into some hijinx with some locals who don't take to kindly to tourists and white people.

Irregardless of Allenby, that is EXACTLY how it would happen. You don't live in Hawaii so you buy drugs from someone you don't know. You don't have "a hookup" in all 50 states and every country you visit. "Let me call my Denmark hookup"

Then you call the cops to report a bogus story - how else would a guy explain the lumps to his wife/friends/media, etc... "I got my a$$ handed to me but I didn't want to involve the law"

We all talk smack here - and that's one thing. Half of us are having fun with the story at Allenby's expense, myself included...BUT

I actually can't believe Duf's caddie said that! WOW!

People spent a few days thinking that kid from USC was an absolute hero for jumping off a third story balcony to "save a drowning kid". Turns out he had a fight with his girlfriend, the cops were coming and he didnt want to get caught. So he jumped.

Now Allenby's adding to the mix that he's "seen the movie Taken and Taken 2"...yeesh, I mean that is just a tiny bit cringe worthy.

Everything Allenby has said could absolutely still turn out to be true - someone sure tuned him up. But we're not even 48 hours into this story. ATM cameras, red light cameras, local store security cameras - there's at least a 95% chance this comes to a full resolution. Its going to take some time but I would say sooner rather than later. As TGC alluded to this morning, all of the "Chamber of Commerce types" that work there have every motivation to prove/disprove this and do it rapidly.

The fumbled kicknoff was crucial, but the only reason that meant anything was the Packers Offenses inability to take advantage of great field position in the first quarter. Was surprised they didn't go for it on fourth down at least one of thise times.

According to the Herald Sun, the homeless woman has been found and questioned and her version is slightly different than Allenby's. Her version states that Allenby was being attacked by 2 men and he asked her to cash advance $500 so he could pay these two men and get his wallet and phone back. After that a soldier or military person helps her get Allenby back into the cab and they were only a block from the hotel to begin with ?????
