This is the only real golf positive living in Minnesota in winter. I'm still 6+ plus weeks away from playing. I can wait and think about whether I want Chocolate or Cherry... :)

We've been misled here. The MTB Black should be licorice in the middle and the MTB Red should be strawberry.

 

 

I'd vote chocolate. Dark chocolate, of course.

Was down at the PGA show last week so didnt get a chance to respond to some questions.. as for the core color, dont be too alarmed by these colors when cut... the final core color will not be red on this ball... these were initial samples we made up for production runs and testing.... for factory reasons, they asked if they could use the red color master batch to make the cores, and we agreed since not a big deal and core color does not mean anything except a way for the plant to identify them in the plant during processing .... and since we had used red in the past, they asked to keep same for trials... we will have a different core color in the future on the final production balls, and the plant is working with us on that color now...PS: no strawberry flavored cores yet..haha..

I hope it's ok to post this (if it's not, it won't matter because I already have). But I jut want to give a shout out to Snell for their responsiveness and wliiingness to help here.

 

I was one of the lucky winners of the holiday gift packs. After forwarding my info here I hadn't heard anything for a while so I PM'd Dean here inquiring about time tables. Going on a trip and was hoping to have them by then. I received an immediate response updati g me, and also offering to instead include the new balls in the pack. And also which version I preferred (BTW,I am trying both). I'm so impressed by the attentiveness by the guys here, and i have a feeling they may have created a loyal customer. Only drawback is my best friend's name is Schnell. Too close!!

 

I'm not a spin player at all around the greens, but do struggle with driver spin, so I'm venturing a guess that the black will be my choice. Im excited to get started wi these.

Thanks for the kind words... please keep us posted on what you think about the new golf balls... some good news as well, the RED's (white cover only) came in a week early, so we will be sending those orders out today... test packs, BLACKS are still on schedule for first week of March...

An early request (some may not like it) for a 3 piece non urethane ball. I know I can't fully take advantage of the urethane ball so why not see if something like this is in any future plans.

The red in white, is the order that has shipped. Dean states above that red, white color only, arrived early.

Yes, the RED (white cover only) are in house and any orders can be shipped as usual... The BLACK and RED (yellow) are on track for first week of March... you are able to order the test packs with BLACK (2 sleeves) and RED 2 sleeves and have the option on the site to make the RED choice in either color... so if you go to the site, click on test packs, there is a menu for which color RED you want... think the default is White cover, so if want yellow you have to select that..

What is the status on the Canadian site? Also - any chance on a better deal/rate? Even factoring in the conversion the MTB was way cheaper in the US...

 

I know shipping is expensive but VICE still ships to Canada for the standard $7 an order (even if I order 5 dozen).

Canada will be placing orders for their customers this month... Canada runs independent of the US due to a lot of reasons... Last year I think they implemented free shipping in Canada as well...This year Canada has some plans to increase distribution and locations, so that will also hopefully help have product in closer locations to help costs as well...

Dean, just read you played hockey, I'm a little late to the party. Why didn't you get into the hockey world of equipment. I raised a son that played juniors, the technology in hockey equipment seems like something you would have excelled at. Back to balls, my reds will be here tomorrow I'll mess around with them on the practice green and put them in play on Sat.
