If you think the weight profession might be a little much you should really give our XP Series a look. The really are outstanding designs. Should be plenty of demo options out there for you to try.

Sorry if that came off a little unclear. I was speaking more of an ascending weight shaft set, but starting at a lower weight and working to a weight that is not quite as heavy as your standard DG sets. As an example, starting long irons in the 90 gram range, with a progression starting at the lower weight.

Hi there. We're considering all options based on the success that we've seen so quickly with Dynamic Gold AMT. However, that type of design would probably be a little bit longer term for us based on everything we've got in the queue. A lot of exciting stuff coming. Thanks so much for your input!

I agree with the earlier comment wishing for a slightly lighter version. While we are talking to Santa, may as well make it graphite too. 100 gram long irons working up to 120. True Temper graphite competing with the likes of Recoils would be an awesome cage match!

So how do these shafts swingweight when using customary 7 gram head weight steps? Do the long iron heads need tip weights, or do you guys advocate a progressive swingweight methodology? I recently built a set of clubs with Recoils, which are also ascending weight, and the swingweight increased as the clubs got shorter. Wondering if these are similar or is the balance point shifted through the set to offset the weight progression?

That's the best part of our VWT (Variable Wall Technology). Allows us to create an ascending weight design with no swingweight variation when using a standard head weight progression. Great question.

I still have two sets of the Black Golds I loved the way they feel and play. Currently using the RIP Tours only because I'm getting older and I like trying New things... lol

We have several more players testing them right now. To be honest the initial demand snuck up on us a little and we only had a small prototype batch available, of which we have given them all out. We are rushing a larger order through the factory right now. We have a list of players waiting for sets.

If they become a full retail line there would likely be a R flex design. (There better be anyways, that's what I would need.)
