Average Joes, what's your driver & shaft combination?

Currently big Bertha v series 9* with tour ad di 6 at 45" Got a project X black to try in it and a rip nv too as I'm not convinced on the tour ad.

My 1st favorite drivers, Taylormade RBZ stage 1 and stage 2, HL 13 degree, Matrix Ozik L flex ...... 180 - 200 meters.

My 2nd favorite driver, Taylormade RBZ stage 2, 10.5 degree, Mitsubitshi Rayon TM-214, R flex..... 180 - 220 meters.

No 3rd or 4th favorite driver ..... this place belongs for SLDR 16 degree and Callaway RAZR, L flex.... 160 - 180 meters.

Put a new shaft in mine. Speeder Tour Spec VC 7.2 X flex. with a Titleist 910D3 8.5* head in the A2 position. Typical carry is around 285. Will probably swing a little softer on the course, so we'll call it 275.
Real excited about this shaft. Its so much better than the last one. I actually have some confidence with my driver again.

G30 SF Tec 10* set to 11* with Tour 65 R flex. 45".
Low 90's swing speed. Usually can get it out there 230-245 on a decent strike in firmer conditions.
I have the Tour 65 S flex but it's a bit much to handle.

[indent=1]Def - an average Joe here, not like some I have read above! Out about 23-260 depending. Had lots of problems with drivers and spent the last few months experimenting with shafts. Now - R11S with Tour AD Di 6 stiff. I love the driver now. Only a VERY poor swing misses fairways. A poor swing still finds the egde/light rough and anything half decent is a fairway finder. Gone are my days of spraying (at least for now) [/indent]

Just something about this shaft does it for me. I have no idea what it is but I'm thinking it's the tourque rating and mid kick.

loving my combo of original Graffaloy blue (regular flex, which plays quite stiff) with the 2007 burner (non-tp)

Forgiving and fairly long (can poke a few out to 270, which is LONG for me)

Not looking to change at this point, club just gives me tons of confidence and i can swing away

Just upgraded to a 913D2 from a 910D2 with the same GD Tour AD DI 7S shaft. The forgiveness between the two heads is night and day. I love it.

Only have 2 rounds so far. Feels very solid. Best hits got out 280-290, worst hits (that didn't hit a tree) ended up about 220.

*Disclaimer: This is my first ever season using a titanium 400+cc driver. My average (not including trees) is over 250. I'm a happy camper.

G30 LS Tec 10.5* with Tour 65 S.

Fell in love with the LS Tec without even looking at the SF Tec or stock G30.
For some reason, low spin heads and I get along well. (Backup is a Fast12 LS with Grafalloy Blue S.)
Carry 220-230. When I let the dog eat, and hit a good shot, I've gotten up to 270 total yards. Much love...

Changed my irons this year to TM RSi2 with Reg KBS Tour 105's. The lighter shaft compared to the R300's in my old Titleist 735CM's helps my tempo.

Cobra Fly Z Limited 10.5* with Matrix Ozik White Tie A flex, 44.5" - thought I would try shorter length for tighter control.

Changed from a G30 12* LS with Aldila Phenom 50 in R flex. Gained 7 yards with the BB/XCal combo. I have no clue what the hell is happening. I spent mucho dinero on the PING Combo. and was accurate but would not get the distance I'm looking for.

SS 98 with the driver try to go any faster I come over the top. ANy suggestions would be appreciated for a shaft in the BB. I do like the BB head but I think it definitely spins more than the G30

Cobra Fly-Z set to 9.5° with an Aldila Rogue Silver 110msi 60-3.4 stiff. Best driver setup I've ever used, hands down. I went into the shop with my mind made up that I was walking out with a G30 or 915D, and the Fly-Z flat out smoked them both. Threw in the Rogue as an experiment and was even more impressed.

Switched from a BB Alpha 815 to Titleist 915 D2. I use the same shaft Fujikura Pro 63 in Stiff. SS low / mid 90's.

Was playing the Bio Cell + W/ Kiyoshi white in Reg Flex. Picked up a Bio Cell and put the stock Matrix Red Tie from the + and hit it yesterday......wow!
