Ping G30 have bounced back and forth between a Fuji pro 53 stiff and an Attas T2 60 regular.

 

My miss is different with both and when I accumulate misses with one I switch.

Swing around 90. Currently playing a 915 D2, 10.5* head adjusted to less loft C2, with the Diamana S shaft tipped 1", and playing it at 45-1/2".

 

I like the longer shaft than Titleist standard length of 45*. ( I see that a couple of the Ping lady staff players are playing their drivers at 47 and 48" - amazing what can be done with a smooth swing). The stock Diamana S+ shaft in regular was too much of a noodle; but tipped 1" it worked out great for me.

XR set at 11.5 with Matrix 60Q4 regular. I tried the White tie, too loose. Then went to Aldila Tour Green and Rogue Silver, both too tip stiff. The Red Tie is right for me at the moment (both in driver and fairway). I want to try the Tour Blue sometime...

Bio Cell at 10.5. I recently installed an xcaliber 6+ RT stiff at 45" to try out. Some drivers work better for me with a Reg, while others are better with Stiff.

 

Would like to get a Cobra LTD with Red Tie stiff flex. I think the Red Ties are perfect. Rogue black in Reg works okay for me as a lower launching option, but Red Tie is a little lighter and easier to launch.

913D2 11.25° .75° flat, Aldila Tour 65 green STIFF. My swingspeed is right at 100mph with this setup where I can control it, maybe a little bit too tip stiff but, it was on sale! :) I did test a Diamana blue board in stiff and didn't get a whole lot more out of it.

Just purchased a Ping G driver 10.5* bumped down to 10* with the stock Alta 55 Stiff shaft (Swing speed 98mph). Tested it against a TM M2 9.5* and while the M2 went a bit further, I was spraying it everywhere. The Ping was much more consistent and accurate. Both were much better than the Burner Superfast that was being replaced where I couldn't even feel the clubhead and could easily have me slice it across two fairways.

I say that after using my old cleveland basher with its stock aldila shaft for 10 years. Wont be changing from the M1 anytime soon.

What's an average joe anyways...?? reading a few of these posts I would say an average joe is not anyone here. knowledge on shafts and all these different models feel like WRX'ers are not average joe's.

I went from Box set 1w to a Ping G15 rflex to a Covert 2.0 rflex. said I was going to stick to it for a while and ended up with a Vapor Pro stiff a few months ago. (also picked up a Flex 440 off the deal). Picked up the covert 2yrs ago new what they are retailing for used now so I couldn't pass that up.

 

I was set then saw the vapor pro at a great deal and snagged it because I would've paid the same or more switching the shaft on the covert and I was considering a move to stiff shafts anyways...

 

and now the Vapor Flex 440...ugh can't believe I bought it...don't need it.

I was fit for my driver and my best combo without going with crazy exotic stuff is a Ping i25 8.5° with the PWR 75 Stiff shaft. Last year the driver and I were on the outs, but as of a month ago we're back on good terms,
