Nice additions. I have two bags, one all Nike and the one in my signature. When I saw the posted pics of the 2014 PC's you just bought I almost pulled the trigger on them myself... again. Would be my second set. I'll never learn.

I picked up two pairs of the Nike Woven short. I am a longtime fan of the 2012-2013 Summer Fashion Tech short. They were a light stretchy DriFit. They were the best golf shorts I ever found. They are great during the hot sticky summers. Unfortunately, they stopped making them, so I reached out to Nike Golf via Twitter to inquire about a replacement. They told me to check out the Woven. It is essentially the same thing with improvements: 12" inseam now 11" and mesh in the pockets (was harder to get stuff out when it was fabric).

I have been eyeing the Metcons for a while. Nike.com has the black and hot lava colorways still available. Eastbay has those plus the camo. Decisions, decisions ...

ya if you are going to lift seriously then get some good shoes... i bought adidas adistars about 8 years ago now and they are still going strong... never worn them outside though..

I personally feel much more stable in a free type shoe (I wear a Reebok Nano) for heavy squats, snatches and cleans
Keeps me on my heels more and I can drive out of the hole easier
I find the lifting shoes get me in my toes too much, especially on front squats

just get a flatter heeled lifting shoe... you must have good flexibility assuming you olympic squat with full ROM...

a flexible heal would never be as good as a solid heal when squatting heavy...

just get a flatter heeled lifting shoe... you must have good flexibility assuming you olympic squat with full ROM...

my hip and ankle mobility is very good, especially for a 6'2" dude
I have no problem squatting past parallel and bouncing out of the bottom in a heavy clean or front squat
I dont solely focus on heavy lifting daily, but its part of my weekly routine

some prefer the raised solid heel in their lifting shoes, which is cool
I just don't prefer it, find I keep much better form in a flat sole
