See, you could kind of see the wear marks. Sort of. Haha.

I usually, in a round, use mostly 7 and above, those have most face and sole marks from the ball, dings, etc...

Hi All, new member here - must admit it's great to see so many people filling their bags with Nike kit - they aren't particularly popular over here in the UK, so sometimes felt like I was the only one. Good to see there are others out there.

Don't have pictures just yet sadly, but in the bag I have:

Covert Driver (Diamana 60 S+ Stiff, adjusted to 9.5 degrees)

Vapor Fly 3W and 5W (Diamana 60 S+ Stiff, standard lofts)

Original Blades 1i, 4i - 9i S400 Shafts (also got the 2i and 3i but don't carry the 2 in winter, and always drop the 3i for an additional wedge)

Engage 50, 54 and 58 (Toe Sweep)

Vapor X Bag

Lunar Command Shoes

Various Nike Balls, including 3 Tour Accuracy TW's still in the sleeve. My sister actually had a dozen of these in the loft which she dug out for me - even now 15 years later they are fantastic golf balls, still long and lots of action round the greens. Haven't tried the RZN's yet, but the TW's far outperformed the 20XI's I was working through. Just a shame I've only got 3 left....

Also have some of my old Nike kit in the garage, such as:

SQ Tour Driver with Prolaunch Blue

VRS 3 Wood with Fubuki Stiff

Pro Combo 18 degree driving iron.

I will get some pics sorted out later, but I'm loving some of the Nike action on this thread - especially those MM Protos.

You've got the original blades from 1i up? That's like a holy grail for me.

Yep, picked them up when they were new in around 2004, added the 1 and 2 iron a couple of years after that. They are looking slightly worse for wear these days - although mostly just bag chatter, so don't affect club performance at all.

I will get photos sorted out....when I remember not to leave them in my locker 8 miles away lol.

My current bag. Most recent pick was the vapor speed tw. I love the sound and feel but I believe the staff is to stout for my mortal swing. Its so much shorter in distance than my stock vr pro le. Haven't decided if I am going to attempt to restart or just stick with the le. Also looking to pick up a set of vr pro combos as backups. I just prefer the old colors over thet new ones.

Haven't managed to retriieve my bag from the locker yet, as work has sadly got in the way of the real business of playing golf - but I have managed to find a couple of tidbits in my home office:

Blade PW - Have replaced this with an Engage 50 Square Sole, travels a similar distance (loft of the PW is 49 degree so pretty much identical) but lots more feel and control round the greens. My blades aren't in the best condition as they've been in the bag for 12 years now, still play superbly however.

Also found some "Old School" Nike balls in the cupboard 3 of the Tour Accuracy TW's mentioned earlier, but also 6 of Nike's first ball release - the Tour Controls.

I'll update when I finally get the rest of my clubs home, but thought these 2 may be of interest....

Looks like a bunch of Nike staffers have made equipment changes this week. I put together some highlights from the WITBs over here: http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/1377566-nike-staffers-equipment-change/page__st__30

So far, Nick Watney is the winner IMO.

Hell of a deal. I need a VPC 3 iron to go with my 4-P set.

I've been scouring eBay and other forums for the VPC 3 iron as well. Tons of 3-PW sets though.. should've bought that instead of the 4-AW

Loving the new staff bag. The "Swoosh" on each side is actually reflective, not white. Top notch material, design, functionality. Rain cover also has a really cool reflective perforated swoosh design. Will be holding onto this for many many years!

I have the same bag. It looks awesome in person. If you want to keep it clean, don't put it on the back of the cart. It Mine ripped around the magnetic flap. The material is very thin.

Sounds stupid but did anybody feel a sense of sadness seeing all the Nike staffers switching so quickly? As if Nike gear was that bad? Feel like they had just kicked Nike whilst they were down

No - there is still personal sadness that Nike is shutting down production, but I completely understand why the pros are switching so fast. I would switch now too if I were them. They aren't contractually obligated to play Nike clubs anymore. The Nike Tour Van is only going to offer on-site equipment support at tournaments until the end of the calendar year. What happens if you need fresh wedges or an adjustment to your putter in April? Might as well go ahead and start working in new equipment now. These tournaments right now are not big events, and they do not carry the same weight as winning tournaments later in the season. It will take some time for guys to build confidence in their new equipment, so now is the time to switch if you want to maximum your time spent gaming the new equipment before the meaningful tournaments start. I don't hold it against any of them. If anything, I would say I am excited to see what they all switch to.

I guess it's more disappointment for me. I'd like them to stick with it, but it makes sense that they would switch especially with the support going away at the end of the year.

Only disappointing thing about the staffers switching is it gives the "inferior equipment" crew more ammunition, but after 12 years of playing their clubs I've learnt to ignore that lot as not really knowing what they are talking about. I actually find it more encouraging that some of the staffers - especially the big names, such as Tiger, Rory and Casey seem to have stuck with it. If the kit is good enough for them it will do me as well.

It was a but gutting to walk into my local golf store and see the Nike rack completely empty apart from a hybrid, most of the stock from the channel in the UK seems to have gone too. Ah well.

Sad because the last 2-3 years, the equipment was as good as anyone in the business. With the Vapor, Vapor Fly, Engage, and Origin lines, Nike had incredibly performing product from top to bottom - driver through putter - all in the line at the same time. Not a good club here and there. Every single offering was outstanding (ok, maybe the hybrids were average). I could hand any one of my clubs to any decent player and instantly change their mind about Nike producing "inferior" equipment. Nike Golf had finally arrived.

And then they close up shop.

Definitely sad because the RZN Tour ball is the best ball I've ever played. Especially the Platinum - stable in the air, feel around the green.

Apparently Casey has an m2 driver in the bag. Not surprised. I don't expect anyone to have Nike clubs in the bag after the new year, with a few exceptions maybe.
