What is an R grind?

 

Those came off the EU van then the wedges I was referring too came off the US truck and at the time the guy was asking about $325-$375 a head but that was about a week after Nike announced equipment being shut down, eventually sold to someone in Japan I believe.

 

R grind was a 58-60 square sole with heel relief where the toe was then bored out, tungsten plug put in, welded over and ground down so you couldn't see the work done to it

 

Do I have an R grind wedge here?

 

Def no R grind in there. Toolbox heads were the ones they'd fit tour players with, very early heads some with the prototype grinds.

Alright boys I have a dilemma. I hit the Nike Vapor Fly Pros really well in the bay a few months ago. I'm debating pulling the trigger on them but financially I don't want to have two sets of irons. What am I losing in going from VR Forged CB's to the Fly Pros other than the forged club.
