I think if Nike golf went black head with bold accent colors rather than on the whole crown, it would've been more successful

 

they did that with the vapor line. Anyone have insights on how well they did? I'm guessing the irons would have done better with white instead of volt swoosh logo.

Yeah, I still have my vapor pro driver and it looks good from address. I think no pvd on vapor irons would've been better.

I got a blade collar pullover on sale a few months back. It's finally cool enough that can wear it now. So can I wear that with a normal golf polo or do I need to wear a blade collar polo with it? I know there is a divide on the fashion design, but I figured it was on sale.

I finally got to wear my Therma Vest this morning. Really nice pc. Extremely comfortable and warm without being too bulky.

Really shouldn’t be playing blades but they have forced me to hit the ball right. Might be picking up some Titleist CB’s being I scared up my 8i pretty bad. Hoping to gain some yardage with CB’s.

 

 

Thinking of having them reconditioned/refurbished back to new. Any info is appreciated.

You will definitely pick up some distance as, as awesome as the OG Blades are (I played a set for 13 years) they really aren't the longest irons in the world. With my OG's I'd hit a 7 iron about 145 yards, with my VR Pros that's closer to 165...

 

Shoulsnt be an issue getting them refurbished tho as I have seen a few sets where that has happened with excellent results. Not sure where you are based but somewhere like the Iron Factory should be able to assist.

Am still on a hunt for a new shaft for my VF 3 Wood, as the Blueboard really is far too spinny. Haven't managed to find a Whiteboard with Nike adapter, but have found someone on ebay who can fit one to an Aldila Rogue Silver - worth a try for £60?

$255 is pretty steep, but there are not very many of these out there.
