I'm afraid they are done with that stuff too. No new styles or products in the 2 years since the shutdown is a pretty heavy indicator that those items are going away too.

Maybe so. I still see them online and in stores. My pro shop still seems to be restocking them as they sell, especially the DuraFeel. If they have stopped producing, they're either not selling that much or they made ALOT before they finished.

I just question it as they are on ndc with no discounts (except the rain gloves), whereas every thing else was heavily discounted.

Just snagged a lightly used Vapor Speed 3 hybrid, hit about 10 balls and seemed to like it. We will see how it does on the course this weekend.

I picked one up when they were still making hard goods and I have been using it ever since. I bought a backup head for when this one gets worn out. I had been struggling to find a fairway wood that worked for me before the VF 3w, and it works perfectly for me. The hard part is finding adapters if you want to try multiple shafts.

I think that is one reason I like it so much. I prefer heavier heads. The Engage wedges and VF 3w really fit my preferences perfectly.

my 3 wood sits square as well. The top line of the 5 wood seemed to move back and appeared open more toward the toe when I had it, but it was just an illusion of the top line I believe.

and the driver was still wrapped in plastic.

Despite owning a set of Adams new idea (2014) hybrid irons (easy set for use in competitive rounds) and Taylormade RSI 2 irons (use for casual rounds and practice to help me improve) I've had my eye on a set of vapour fly pros for ages to replace the Adams once my ball striking improves. What are peoples opinions? They seem like a great balance between GI and workability with nice turf interaction. Just need to wait for a set to turn up in the right spec at the right price. The matching woods also look great...

I've had both and currently have the fly. Launches higher. The VFP had ever so slightly better ball speeds though.

Yep, still got mine. Pair it with a Blue board and you have an absolute rocket launcher that works both off the tee and the deck.

 

Only issue I have with it is if you adjust the loft the grips don't line up any more, but I just set it to 15 degrees Standard and left it. Mines good for 250 is and really easy to launch.

I have the 3 and 5 wood and both sit great. If anything, they look open. They definitely aren't closed like some of Taylormade's have been in the past. I don't feel like I have to lean the shaft forward with these to square the face up.

What do I want... Method 001 or Origin B1-01?

 

Personally I like the Method 001 better. The Origin was a bit too soft for me. I still have my Method but recently switched to a mid-mallet which seems to fit my stroke better. Still not sure I want to get rid of it. You know, just in case.
