Best golf shorts/pants?

I like a little stretch in my shorts, Under armour are my favorite. Puma would be second, Adidas last.

RLX Cypress are awesome. If you can get them on sale like I did, half off, they're a steal. They're snug so one size over is probably the correct fit.

Under Armour coldblack shorts and you can get them for $30-40. I know thats not cheap but when they first came out they cost over $80.

You aren't going to find anything else like the Lulu pants and shorts. They are warp knit and everything else is woven. You are comparing apples to oranges. My advice is to look on eBay to get better deals on them that are preowned.

I have tried a lot of different kinds of shorts, and a few kinds of pants, and all things considered Izod golf styles are great for me. You can get them super cheap at the outlet stores and I would put them up against any others. I also like the Adidas ones I have, but Izod is really great, especially for the price you can get them at the outlet stores.

I have some of their pants which are very inexpensive, however, the fit is not optimum [i]for me. [/i]I am going to be grabbing a few pairs of nike modern tech pants in slim fit. They seem to have it all together compared to the other brands I tried on. Only downside, I am having a terribly difficult time finding any Nike modern tech slim fit in 32x30...I may have to just order direct for Nike

+1 On Haggar Cool 18. They are excellent shorts, great in very warm humid weather. Love the elastic give in waistband, and are $20-30. I have under armour and adidas pairs that just sit in my dresser past few years....also they cost double and aren't as comfortable.

I've had a bunch of different brands of pants/shorts and my favorites are the Kahuna shorts and ABC pants from Lululemon.

Pricey, but very high quality. Quality stitching, dual button for stress relief, stretchy enough, just great.

They are a bit heavy fabric and warm in the summer but the quality makes me overlook that.

Nike shorts and pants are solid too.

Chaps short are pretty good. I just bought a pair of these but haven't had a chance to wear them on the course. They feel really good though. They have some that have a small pocket on the side too. Currently on sale for $35.

I tried the Fila brand shorts from Kohls and they are actually pretty good, except for the mesh pockets as someone else pointed out. They are usually around $25 which is still a pretty good bargain.
Champion shorts from Target I heard were good, but I bought a pair and did not care for them. Nike and Under Armour are very nice, but I've never seen a pair in my size for under $50-60.

I like the Adidas shorts but theyre not that durable, they seem to scuff up and tear easy, but at their $30 price tag they are hard to beat. The Nike shorts Flat front in particular, are very nice shorts, but they are a little thicker material and can actually get warm on humid days, which I don't really care for, but that's just me. JL makes quality gear and is my personal favorite but there about $60-$70 for shorts.

I have an older pair, kind of heavy. Went to Penny's and they didn't have any.

Nike is the best imo when you consider quality and price. You can buy them all day long for $40 or less if you wait till the end of season or have access to places like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, or Ross. If I had Lesmond's golf budget then I would wear nothing but J Lindeberg.

Maide Golf / Bonobos best I've worn. Love the inner waist band to keep the shirt stayed tucked in.

Most of the stuff mentioned here doesn't fit me in the thighs and rear. Today's stuff doesn't seem to be made for someone with an athletic build. I have a number of pairs of the Leadbetter shorts and pants from Jos. A. Bank. They fit well and hold up to a lot of wear and tear. You can usually get them for $15-$40 a pair during a sale.

FJ's fit is way to baggy and loose IMO. Very nice quality though. Dollar for Dollar I would say uniqlo for pants and Adidas for shorts

For my money Greg Norman pants are the highest quality golf pants on the market. I have had three pairs for the last 6 to 8 months. I wear them to work as business casual dress pants most days and they look as good as most dress pants. They are top quality most golf pants I've owned get worn out with washing very quickly especially under armor. The Greg Norman's look as good as new after countless washing and drying for 8 months. The crease is still in the legs. They are also very light material very cool for hot days in S FL. I do have a Greg Norman outlet by my home and the pants are 40 bucks but Greg Norman online has sales consistently. Norman shirts are also the best quality and value I've found ...the collar of Nike and Adidas start to curl up after just a few washes drives me nuts.

Oakley Conrad pants and shorts are amazing
