Got my send order of 4 dozen today. ProV1x this time. One ball had a tiny scuff. Several had logos and most had players marks that I remove with Goof Off.

I have 8 dozen ProV1's and ProV1x's for the cost of a little more than one dozen at a pro shop. (Or considerably less than whoever would pay $95.)

Ordered 3 dozen q stars (...I'm a hack...) 5A quality and not one bad ball in the lot. About 8 logo balls. A few player markings which came right off.

I wouldn't hesitate to order again and I'm sure I will.

I am not comfortable with balls that come out of lakes, which I would assume these do.

I bought 5 dozen Prov's for less than the price of 1 dozen new. The condition these balls are terrific and the performance is as good as any brand new ball I've ever played. None of them look like they were ever swimming, but what do I know? (a few of them are swimming now though)

But, it's your money to spend as you see fit.

My 5A balls looked brand new. The 4A balls were in really good condition too. I wouldn't think much of the 5A/4A balls come from lakes due to the discoloring the water would have on the balls. If I ever have a new sleeve of balls I might try to play one of my used vs new side by side, but I haven't noticed any distance loss or spin around the green difference in new vs used in the past.

I ordered 2 dozen AAAA Lethal Balls. Some look perfect, some have some sharpie marks, but they look faint. All in all, I think it was worth the gamble of getting 4A balls and not 5A.

Just got 3 dozen (AAAAA) balls from golfballs direct.
1 doz Srixon Zstar - 1 scuff out of 12, balls seem good none the less.
1 doz Taylormade Tour Preferred - several logos, 1 pen mark, and maybe 2 balls that had questionable color
1 doz ProV1 - these looked brand new, but they did not 'feel' as sticky as the Zstar or Taylormade.

I received my 8 dozen AAAA Srixon Z Star Yellow mix today and only about two balls are probably shag quality due to deep scuffs. One logo. Maybe a dozen have Sharpie marks. Some have a little discoloration but overall I am very pleased with the 4A condition rating.

I got 57 XV, 31 Z Star, 7 SL, and one X model. Also found one XV ball with a GMAC stamp. Not sure if I've seen him using yellow balls before though.

Just ordered 5 dozen Srixon Z-Stars. Don't really need more balls but it is hard to pass up for the price at 20% off with free shipping. Looking for an alternative to LGB after a lousy experience with them. I hope you guys are right about GBD!

Just got my order of mixed Pro V1. For the price there are a lot of nice balls in really good shape. I was really surprised. I ordered a dozen AAAA of the 2014 V1x as well and while they are better, I would've rather just ordered another 48 piece mix. Most were Pro V1s though.

I think it's a great deal to do the mix if you don't mind logos or player marks. All the balls were playable. I'm not as good as a lot of the guys on here, but I found really good value in this mix. Great experience!

Got my lethals today. Out of 2 dozen only a couple have sharpie and all look really good. I'll be ordering again soon. Thanks to op for starting this thread and introducing me to gbd!

Just wanted to update this. I placed a feeler order to check for quality,logos, and discoloration. I received my 10 dz Srixon Z-Star 4a mix (6dz yellow, 4dz white). Was amazed at the condition, didn't get 1 faded or discolored yellow ball! Mostly new generation balls too. Would say about 75% were XV's so i'm pumped. Maybe 6-10 balls total with logo's. 6 balls with slight/minor scuffs.

Overall, very very pleased with condition/service/value. I would definitely rank these higher than Lost Golf Balls and Golf Ball Nut for sure. Shipping was considerably cheaper and faster as well. Shipped in one box. Balls were in two separate plastic bags with 2 nice large nylon mesh shag bags included. The 4a is prefect for my game and budget! If I can get premium balls in this condition for this price, not sure why I would buy new.
