I got the Nitro golf balls once too when I ordered only 1 dozen. I guess they use that to fill the space in the box instead of those aweful "peanut" things. I hit them for practice. Went pretty far.

Only done Chrome Soft's, so I can't really comment on others, but the prices on those haven't gone up.

I remember buying lethal 4A for 7.88 when they were on sale under "Louie's recycled specials". After this website bought 400 dozen and sold out they went off special and have been 10.88 a dozen. If you want a sale ball go buy the TP3. You can get 5A for around 7.47 with the 25% off. Good price.

Got some tour preferred and tour preferred X. For some reason I've been playing really well with this ball. Either it's coincidence or I can feel it a bit better, but I think it's and underrated ball.

 

The tour preferred feels like in between a pro v1 and v1x which is what I'd describe how I'd want my perfect ball to be like

I got 4 dozen. I bought two dozen for my dad when Amazon was having a sale and he said the same thing. The TPX felt the same to him as a V1x. He's pretty picky but he agreed with us. They feel great. I don't play V1 because the V1x exists but I prefer TMAG better than both...almost. I got titleist everything and on my bag so I have to play those lol

It's really soft for me. I liked how much they spun. They felt funny off the putter to me. Like soft but just a different feel. They were also noticeably shorter. Whether it was the cover or the spin or both?

 

Also I played the truvis ones because my GF thought they looked cute. She bought me a dozen premium balls out of cuteness (and looking like a soccer ball) and I actually have a harder time finding it even in the first cut.

 

The do look kind of cool spinning on wedge shots tho
