I think the booklet says the weight is 345g +/- and they've been weighing out at around 355g +/-

NIke golf said the booklet has the headweight for the regular putter line - the Proto 006 is designed like Rory's and is 355 grams.

The event was amazing. He mentioned what he told Rory last week, to keep the putter low thru out the putt (Rory has tendency of raising his left shoulder with putter end up much higher to the ground) and maintain a straight line between left hand and putter thru out the putter. I got some very valuable and interesting one on one putting lesson from Dave as well.

Got a Scotty golo 5 at the moment, had a Newport before that.
Once upon a time I had a method core 5i mallet, so I know the method tech puts a good roll on it.
It's due to arrive on Friday, question is does it go straight into the bag for Saturday's comp?!

The Scotty is already on the naughty step after a horrific putting performance last time out that turned a potential career round into a (still good for me) 78. I was going to play with an odyssey vline whpro that I have as back up, it will be very tempted to put the 006 straight in![/quote]

It does tend to be tricky to find distance control when switching putters, don't know about a comp! My first 9 with it I had three 3 putts and four 1 putts though!

i am raging... 1 agreed to buy it from a pro shop at the UK launch for them now to call today to say since they are going for so much on eBay they can no longer sell it to me for retail but will call back later today or tomorrow with a new price...

absurd...

i was one of the original voters to buy one so been waiting a long time for this... lucky i like my 001 a lot...

That is utterly disgraceful and quite unethical. They presumably are a bonafide Nike stockist to have one in the first place.
I wonder what Nike UK would think to such blatant profiteering from a stockist. It's one thing for a flipper to do it (which I don't like much either), but quite another for a proper pro shop.

[/quote] I had mine adjusted to my 69 lie and 4 loft. It was fine, no different than any other putter I've had adjusted. Thankfully my club builder recognized the putter so he was extra careful with it.

OK, I am going to man up and do it tonight... carefully of course. I just reshafted it last night, put on a new Iomic Absolute grip (love it). Time to finish the job.

I adjusted mine to 69* lie but I did it myself. My favorite local shop has a loft lie machine for putters that anyone can use if you'd like. Then it's your fault if something bad happens.
