I made it out the Beck last night after work with enough time to get in a few holes. I am glad I did. It was absolutely perfect out. They cut or rolled the greens (or both) because they were rolling so much better than when I was out on Sunday and Monday. They were pretty quick actually.

 

I hit the ball decent, but was just glad to be outside enjoying the great weather.

 

Nice. The greens were the worst I've ever seen them on Tuesday with Eagle and City.

 

They were much better. No bouncing!

The F7 2 ball I think was a 2008/9 release. People hated the *TINK* sound it makes off the face. Meh, it never really bothered me. Which is ironic because I will not even demo a driver if I think it sounds too funny.

 

Not at all surpising funny story - I bought a backup head at one point. Decided that I would send it to Slighter to custom build a harder metal face for it. Just didnt come out right, was uneven looking and not pleasing to my OCD. Still always looking for a cheap backup head.

Who would help?

 

In my head, that scene would be really funny to me.

used to be the ol cobra dws 3h. released back in aught7 i believe. now it's the ss putter, which was released in 2011.

GTTh2: Like I've said, my putter is from the early 90's, a Odyssey DF Rossie I. It looks like that model first came out in 1991.

 

2nd oldest club in the bag is my sand wedge, a Cleveland Gun Metal TA 900. Looks like that's from the 2000's some time. I bought my first one back then, lost it on some course some where, and found the same wedge on eBay about 10 years ago.

 

I've looked at more recent Cleveland wedges, the 588, but the head shape is bigger. I prefer the smaller head size of the TA 900.

It's either the Adams A12 hybrid or Vokey 200 Series remakes from Wedgeworks. Both are around 2010 or 2011.

 

You also know I rotate through around 12 putters a season, including a 1988 Ping Zing 2 (which is older than some of you here). Right now my scientific SKLZ Accelerator Pro testing shows a slight edge to a Yes! Evelyn putter, which I think is at least 5 years old.

 

I'm also guessing this putter is even older than the Zing 2 but I don't use it much these days:

Oldest clubs I have in my possession... Scratch Wedges from 2007 (I think) and my Scotty Cameron Studio Style Newport 1.5.

 

Haven't gamed the Wedges in 3 years, 6-7 months on the Scotty.
