You should nut up and dump everything Nike if you truly feel they did the guys you know wrong and are quitters.

 

Why would I do that? The guys I supported were the ones who helped make the equipment I play. That makes no sense. Especially when this is the best bag I've ever had. What I am saying is that I was partially loyal to supporting the brand because of the friendships I developed. Now that they are going to be gone why would I be so loyal to support the brand? Not saying I won't ever buy anything Nike, but my attitude on supporting them has changed. There is more to the story that runs deeper than I wish to share. It's personal. But to dump all my equipment that's performing makes no sense. I'm just saying you won't find me all excited about the latest from them. Might find me in some foot joys next season ;)

Thanks for the backhanded compliment..... I was not trying to blast him though.... I just keep reading about all these guys being disgruntled over Nike ending the equipment division but then they talk about buying new clothes or what not, I am not speaking of any one person in particular. If people truly feel strongly about it than get rid of all the Nike s*** and never buy it again....

 

Old stuff I'm all about it. New stuff releases you won't see me running to buy any of it. How I feel about things going forward ...

I remember you saying tour issue had scoring lines across the face. I think I got duped. I don't know about their serials. 637K81JU And it does not have a hot melt port like my tour issue Aeroburner. What do you think?

Side note - what shaft did you have in your flex before the DI? I just picked up the 440 but it has the wrong shaft in it for me (limited S+ in stiff) and am looking at shaft options. I was originally thinking whiteboard because thats what ive always played and is my current gamer (LTD). I've never toyed with GD AD shafts. Might be the time. I was surprised that the flex was only a little bit behind the LTD with the wrong shaft.

Had the HZRDUS 75 in it. Too stout for me. It was straight but not that long and punishing on miss hits. HZRDUS is a weird shaft. Sometimes performs good in the right head and other times performs eh... Found the right combo with the trusted AD-Di

Ah ok cool. Yeah I didnt love the HZRDUS black. For what its worth, I didnt have the handcrafted one. Not sure if that would make a difference for me or not. I want to try the yellow eventually and that new silverish one looks awesome. That colorway would look sick in the flex haha.

 

I think I have a bead on a Whiteboard for the flex, so im pretty pumped to get it on the course with the right shaft!

Bought another Flex 440 with the Diamana s+ LTD shaft for 79.00. Also got a Sunday carry bag even though I never walk for 50.00 haha. Custom RZN. Now I'm all set for retirement.

This is hers that I gave her from the event. I feel you on the love hate relationship. Some of my buddies give me crap for playing Nike. They all use every other brand except Nike. I like being that guy though haha. Really was crapped out about the decision to end the equipment side. It's business though. Good news is they did take care of a few of the guys at the Oven and will be transferring them to Oregon.

Also my wife's putter is complete and I must say I thought she designed it "too busy" but it came out wonderful. I hear he spent two weeks hand filing these putters. These will be special. Very special to me.
