Did you try the S+ Limited at all when you were trying out the flex?

 

No but kind of wish I did. I had a HZRDUS in it. Setup might have been too low spin. Finding that the HZRDUS is a great shaft for dispersion but never really hit bombs with it in the Flex. Some heads are hit and miss with the HZRDUS. Limited would have been a great setup.

Try 5 min lol. My buddy sent me a text because I hit his AB the other day tour issue head and kind of liked it. Then with the shaft it was a no brainer. Shaft might be too stout though. It's tipped an inch.

From what I read it plays soft to flex. On the range it flights nice feels great. Like a tighter blueboard

Found the PXG to be very high launching and spinny. Looks ugly, performs meh... Only a few swings with it. Has a HZRDUS hand crafted 6.5. Not impressed at all.

 

Let my buddy use my SZ. He has been bombing it and hitting it straighter than I've ever seen him hit it. So... He now owns it lol. I think the SZ is the sleeper driver of the year. M1 should be here soon. Looking forward to messing around with it. Played streaky today. Working on footwork lately and revamping it to be exact. So been struggling the last few rounds. I'm hitting it the best I've had in a long time on the range but just haven't brought it to the course yet. But I have to fix my footwork. Patience!

I had the PXG for 1 round and 1 driving range session. Like you mentioned, it was spinny and mediocre compared to other drivers. Same with the SZ, I had that for 2 rounds and it was ok.

Interested to read your views on the M1. I've been a Ping guy for a while since the G25 (bagged 2013), G30 (bagged 2014), G30 LST (bagged 2015) then picked up a Cally 815 this season. Amazing how bad the ping drivers feel after you've tried practically anything else. The Cally has incredible feel and is quite long. The Ping drivers get results for sure, but the feel is lacking. Based on the recent MGS reviews I picked up an M2 w/Rogue black 70X, 45" for giggles. I've now played 4 rounds with it and it is likely the best driver I've played. It is a solid 10 yards farther than my Ping setups and feels very nice. I've played my local course literally 1000's of times and the M2 has already reached some of my longer spots on the course. I'm playing in a local pro WGA Open event this Tuesday and I fully intend to bag it. Great thread btw.
