Yeah I'm not sure either. They were supposed to come out with their counter flex line (counter balance) but I heard it got pulled because of manufacturing issues which is a shame.

I like Nike putters, but not the ones with the red insert, ugly as anything. The grey faces look so much nicer. The 006 putter is beautiful, as is the 001.

Speaking of new Nike putters...Was Paul Casey using a new putter this past week at The Travelers?

It looked like a black 001 with a completely milled face. No insert. Was I seeing things? I know he had been using a slant neck Method Matter B2-01 for a while but this putter did not look like that.

I rolled the converge S1 at a local shop and it is actually really good. RZN face is so different than the previous core and milled grooves but actually rolls the ball really well with a soft but firmer feel and click than odyssey faces. Super stable high moi design.

That colorway isn't exclusive to Shox. Nike produces a whole ton of red and black shoes.

He is referring to the red RZN layer looking like the shox of the shoe. I heard in an interview that they used the shoe as inspiration for the putter design.

They aren't pretty by any means but I did order a converge s2-12 and I am excited to receive it.
