Can any confirm that the Nike Pros are the exact clubs as the Muscle 8-P in the Pro Combo or are the Pros a legit blade?

 

Also.. Has anyone been able to remove the insert on the Pro Combos? It's literally the only thing I hate about these clubs.

Yes, the pros are the same in those higher lofted irons. And I'm also pretty sure removing the resin plug in the back would result in negative feedback (if it's even possible in the first place)

Not the black resin plug but this almost sticker, metallic, piece with all of the "Y" shapes. Has anyone removed that?

The Pros are so sexy. I definitely see the difference. It was a big leap for me going to the PCs from GIs but it has been the best thing I've ever done for my game. As much as I want a set of the pros I wonder if I would be biting off more than I can chew?

To me...they are more forgiving than a "traditional" blade like something along the lines of a titleist MB or even the VR Pro blades, but at the end of the day they're still going to fight back if you don't bring it

I really need to try them, if I could remotely game them I would. I was so intimidated by the VPCs until I hit them coming from GIs (Cobra Bio Cell). My contact improved from the heavier shafts slowing my tempo down as well as the thinner sole and turf interaction.

 

How much more forgiving would you say the VPCs are than the Pros? I was told the sweet spot can't get any bigger according to USGA rules but the amount of perimeter weighting is what separates certain clubs. Any input?

God dammit they didn't add the Clemson LC4s?! I'm not even a Clem fan but I want those shoes...I seriously may get the Tennessees.

 

Clemson isn't a nike golf school to my knowledge they're still a PING college team.

 

That may be but Ping doesn't manufacture shoes or an extensive clothing line. Tennessee has some shoes and the Vols golf team doesn't wear all Nike or play their clubs. This wasn't a hypothetical, they have been posted before.
