[color=#282828]'Dale' is a reference to ScottsDALE, AZ. This was engrazed in the cavity of the old Anser putters. [/color]

[color=#282828]The Anser design changed a bit over time, especially the heel and toe bumper shapes (taking on a very Anser 2 look) so the Dalehead name was a way people could differentiate between the two. Originally "Scottsdale Anser" then shortened to just "Dalehead" as many of the original head shapes also had the Phoenix, AZ engraving on them.[/color]

So i still have to get some real world photos of my Slighter putter I got about 3 weeks ago, I have gamed it twice, just was lazy and didn't think to get some good pics of the finish. I can say that it looks like a dull bronze with a buffed wax coloring effect when out in the sunlight.

Anyways I just received my GSS DH89 last night, and I love it! It came out great and super clean, it's the first time I have rolled a GSS and I can explain how sweet the feel is, I really am digging the contact response I feel. Here are a couple of pics of the new beauty!

Last season I had the Super Rat in the bag almost exclusively. Between that and the Tour Rat though, it's really a toss up. They're both fantastic putters with a great feel. The Tour Rat is a touch on the simpler/cleaner side though and, as far as I'm concerned, that's a plus. I especially like the SCOTTY CAMERON milling on the face of the Tour Rat. I'm a bit of a sucker for the RWB paint scheme on the Super Rat though, I'm really happy with how that turned out.

 

I just received the MA/66 from LaMont a few weeks ago. In fact, it was waiting for me on my front step when I got home from my last round of the year (go figure). I've been working with it quite a bit since receiving it and if carpet putting is any indication, this stick has a very solid shot and kicking out my many Camerons come 2016. It really is a great putter. I'm happy enough with it that I already have another order with LaMont in the works.

bought as a raw unfinished carbon head 353g. wet-sanded and cold blue'd.
stepless 35" TT shaft + Iomic classic grip.

will get some natural rust—as you already start to see formed around the cavity area.

My small anser style collection to date. A stainless DH89 in glass blast with Byron's #4 tuna milling and no softening of the edges. A carbon DD201 in gun metal with Kari's medium face milling and very light rounding of the edges.
