I just received my 10.5 M1 with AD DI6s shaft. I hit about 25 balls on a launch monitor trying to dial in. A question... I have 106 avg SS (5 Hcp).

I am trying to target 13 degree launch and 2200-2500 spin. Does that sound about right? Also my normal shot shape with my current driver (Fly Z+) is a 5 yard draw. I found the M1 didn't want to turn over. I don't try to hit a draw but that's been my natural shot shape. The M1 seems to start out fine but wants to fade. Anybody else have that issue?

Try it in the upright position or maybe upright and a click towards higher. Very flat lie angle.

Thank you for the response! It feels great but I was surprised at the slight fade. I'll try it upright at 10.5 and at 11.25 and see if that helps!

I was having a different experience. In the stock set up my tendency is to hang it left.

I worked at it through a couple range sessions. 10.5 opened up to 9.75, and the weights in the extreme forward and extreme fade positions.

I am glad I waited a little longer to get the Kuro Kage 70g shaft vs the 60g. Less torque and very similar profile to the ahina.

Great set up for me!

I have spent several sessions indoors on the LM testing the M1 in an attempt to dial it in. Didn't think anything could produce better numbers that my SLDR w/ Motore Speeder 6.2TS. I was wrong, the M1 is a beast. But to your point I can't get the ball to draw at all. Eliminating left is never a bad thing, but I like being able to "turn it over" every once in a while.

Still trying to decide on a shaft. Tough to find anything that as good and consistent as my current Motore Speeder. Have tested the Rogue 110 in X and it's ok, just feels a little soft to me.

Anyone have any thoughts on shafts that are working well for them in the M1. I need to stick with Low lauch/Low spin. SS 104-108.

I ordered mine with the black tie 70x and my swing speed is similar to yours. It's really stable. Not sure if you will be able to hit a draw with it but it fits the bill as far as low spin/ launch
Very familiar with the Black Tie as I had it in the SLDR prior to switching to the Speeder TS. It certainly is Low spin/launch, but to me is lacks feel. Might just go ahead and see if I can find a M1 head and stay with the Motore Speeder.

You may have to get a bit more inside with the face closed a scosche more to the path than you're accustomed, but you can work the M1 right to left with most any shaft you choose. :drinks:

The answer to better golf is work your butt off and learn how to hit it better, farther, and make more putts.

Yes, I have experienced it myself, as well as read posts by many people saying the same on here. Seems most with the issue are using the upright lie shaft setting. I found myself hanging fades out to the right more with the M1 driver than normal. I went upright, and moved the weight slightly toward the draw setting, and that seemed to straighten it out.

Alrighty then, first round with my M1 430 9.5* with Rogue 110 70s yesterday.
Settings
Loft was on upright 9.5*, all the way to draw & spin weight all the way forward.
Ballflight
Was just above mid but it was sneaky in that it's apex height wasn't as high as a lot of other drivers I've hit but it still carried to my usual places & released upon landing.
Playability
My normal ballflight is straight or a little cut although I do have a pull hook in me occasionally too. Today I lost a couple right but they were crap swings. But I also shaped some both ways & was more than happy with the results.
Feel & Sound
Best feeling & sounding TM club I've ever hit, pretty sure it's the carbon fibre head that helps with the acoustics but the face is much softer than the SLDR (which I also love) & I love the muted sound it makes. The M1 reminds me of one of my favourite drivers, the Callaway Razr Fit but the M1 is on juice.
Forgiveness
Just like the R15 was a big improvement over the SLDR in regards to heel & toe strikes, the M1 even the 430 is better again. Sure you're punished somewhat but nowhere near as much as the SLDR.
Distance
No outlandish claims that this is the longest driver ever but it is very very long. Without wanting to come across as a tosser I'm lucky enough to hit be able to go long off the tee & there is no driver that is going to give me an extra 30m if the driver I'm using is close to my fit. I believe that if my swing is where it should be the only way blokes like myself can pick up more distance is by making sure I have the right loft head to get desired launch angle & making sure my spin is good. Add to that the way a club looks & feels which can make you more confident which may buy you some metres. Well I believe this club can definitely provide me with an opportunity to deliver some very very long tee balls as I did yesterday. When I'm swinging well my Sldr 10.5*/AD BB6s is absolutely perfect but the misses do hurt, the M1 seems to do what my Sldr does without the snap hook that the Sldr has the M1 misses aren't penalised as much. For mine the R15 had a fair bit of right side in it but the M1 is much more neutral.
Extras
I tried a few 60 odd gram shafts in it earlier in the week they all felt like crap, way too light so I'm not sure if I'm going to try my Rogue 125msi 60X in it. I'm keen to test some 70's & see how they go. I'm not sure if I prefer the 460 or 430 M1 yet as they feel similar but play quite differently although it is advantage 430 at the moment.

Did anyone swing their M1 quicker than their gamer?

Not sure if it was the swing weight or the length of the shaft. I swung the M1 quite a bit quicker than the FT-9 Tour. To the best of my ability, i didn't swing either club faster or slower. I do feel that FT-9 Tour with Fubuki Tour 63X is on the weak side (It was very apparent after i got the E8 Beta with Rogue Silver 70X)

A lot of factors on that. Apples to apples tipping they will be very similar. Which is stiffer I'd guess the 661

yes ... but only very slightly (roughly 2cpm ... so about a quarter the way from S to X)

keeping in mind that S in quarter inch shorter is roughly 1 cpm stiffer anyway there is hardly any change at all

Just finished my third round on a Canadian golf trip to Laughlin NV. Started with an 82 in 20-30mph winds. Shot a 78 yesterday in similar conditions and a 75 today at Laughlin Ranch from 6600 yards, same crazy wind. My best mate asked if we need to start doing blood work on my M1 because I was consistently 20 yards further than I was with my 915 D2 with the D+60x 45" set at 10.25 loft and fade. M1 is 10.5 standard loft with OG WB 73S but spec'd at 264cpm at 45" playing length. Rear track set between middle and front and 2 clicks to fade and could not be happier. This driver is awesome...it comes off the face super easy but looks very penetrating. Got one out there 324 downhill into a head wind which was rather surprising as I was ahead of my playing partners by 100 yards. Worked only on baby bird grip pressure and exhaling completely before I swing and drastically changed the speed and tempo I was hitting the ball with. Typical FS:TM numbers are 108-112mph club head and 156-160mph ball speed. Staying for a while, legit...

SS 104-108.

Kuro Kage 70X, Rogue 125msi 70TX, Matrix 7M4, Kiyoshi Black, Tour Green 75 to name a few. Depending on your load I would not tip the lower torque shafts in the X.

New Bag in the making...

Got to hit the M1 today and I was disappointed. I didn't like the feel and it performed worse than my G30. I hit it with the Kurokage Stiff, and I believe the shaft wasn't a great fit.
Tried 6 different shafts, found a couple of good fits, but wasn't worth replacing the G30.

Don't beat yourself up, it's not the driver for everyone, and if it was, they wouldn't be all over the BST.

SS 104-108.

Kuro Kage 70X, Rogue 125msi 70TX, Matrix 7M4, Kiyoshi Black, Tour Green 75 to name a few. Depending on your load I would not tip the lower torque shafts in the X.
Yes all great shafts. trying to get my hands on a Tour Green or Kiyoshi to try. From what I've read, the Kiyoshi Black is a low spin monster.

Kind of a weak response. No driver is for everyone, and almost all new drivers that come out in high volume with large consumer purchases are on the BST. G30 is LGIT....but so is any driver if the shaft and head combo fits the profile.

Yeah I was actually back and forth from an M1 kuro kage vs G30 stiff and really both for me just spun too high and launched too high. Current deal of sldr Japan version 10 degrees with Ad mt 6s was just too good for me.

My M1 arrived at my club a couple of days ago and I got a chance to pick it up and play it yesterday. Cool day in Massachusetts -- I think the high was 44 degrees -- but it was sunny with little wind. I adjusted the weight a bit toward draw (which was about where it was when I was fitted a month ago), hit about 5 drives on the range (mostly left misses), and hit the first tee.

I have the 460 head in 10.5 loft, with an Aldila Magnum shaft in stiff. Swing speed in the 94-97 range. Front nine was spent getting used to the club, but the back nine was fantastic -- I hit every fairway. The club is super easy to hit straight -- far more forgiving and a better match for my swing than my 5 year old Burner TP. Hard to gauge the distance on a cool day with soft fairways, but it seems at least as long as my previous driver on center hits and considerably longer on slight mishits.

I'm planning to play Friday as temps are expected to be in the upper 50s -- probably my last round of the season. In any event, I'm thrilled with the results yesterday, and really pleased that I pulled the trigger on the M1.

Just got mine in yesterday and hit it on Trackman, unfortunately it was acting up a bit so only got a few numbers but this thing is easily 20 by my Titleist 915.. I've never been able to carry it into the 300s. This is a huge boost to my game

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
