Just did this to my odyssey 9.

 

Didnt change tape on insert each time i sprayed so it bled. Overall happy

what did you spray it with?

 

Flat black color

will it last?

Time will tell. I am going to put a clear coat on it as well.

Waiting on a black matador grip to come in then my 2016 Newport Select 2.5 is going to labworx for a devils black head and shaft armor with pink paint fill options. Can't wait to see what it comes back like.

Following up. I ended up finding a del Mar on eBay on the cheap so I went ahead and bought it and had it sent by putter spa. It was in pretty bad shape but from all of the research I did it looked real so I went ahead and got it. I'm really happy with the work that jrich did. Wouldn't hesitate to send another putter over to him.

 

Used leather paint for the grip. I was getting into a groove with my classic #2, but I'm excited to give this thing a try

Haha yea. Leather paint. Played with it today and it seems like the paint is going to hold up. Didn't bleed or anything like that
