Basically a program that adds a specific item to your cart and checks out so you can have

All Nike really has to do is add an additional step to the process when you have to type in a specific answer, and if you get it wrong it removes the item from your cart and you have to start over. For golf items it could be very simple. IE - type in the number of majors Tiger Woods has won, or even general golf knowledge. That would give everyone the same equal chance as getting limited items.

I don’t think they care to do so. No matter what the shoe is, a sale to a bot is still a sale. If they did, maybe a legit draw like the ones done on SNKRS would suffice (not that I’ve won one on a draw either)

It certainly did feel like that for some sizes. I'm a Size 13 and I had them in my cart and was "In Line" in about 20 seconds from when they went up. Still no dice.

I was the exact same, or less, for size 12 and nothing!

Nike needs to do Draws for these highly sought after shoes. When you don’t have a swinging chance it kinda turns you off from the brand.

Nike uses different methods of release depending on popularity/hype. LEO is Nike's 2 minute draw (which was used on these Jordans. When it said 'you are now in line', it simply was a draw). DAN is Nike's 10/25/30 minute draws (SNKRS). FCFS is as it sounds: first come first served. This is relegated to lower hype shoes, such as the rest of the Safari pack.

 

These Jordan's were not FCFS as Nike made it appear. The reason normal people didnt get through, for the most part, was because bots were entering literally millions of entries hoping that some were chosen for the draw.

even with bots doing "millions" of entries, would we still be able to get in on the draw? asking because it went from "coming soon" to "sold out" literally instantly, for me. wasn't even able to "get in line" like in other draws I've tried like you've described as LEO

Thanks for that. I knew something was different. That explains it.

 

If there’s 10,000 golfers that want them, and 1000 shoes available, you have a 1/10 chance of getting them. BUT, same 10,000, same 1000, but some are using bots to, say, put in a million entries, your odds go to 1/1000. Even though there’s the same demand, because of the bots, it’s pure luck to get a pair.
