I'm getting the countdown to price increase. I'm new here but interested in this guy and his teachings. Does anybody know whom is the poster child for this swing or the closest thing to it? I saw his video on transition and he says all of the old guys went left then sat back right. All the greats went left and rotated imho with the exception of Snead whom he talks about. I'd like to know what this thing looks like. Thank if you can help.

If you have Instagram, check out his page. Bunch of poster children there.

I think it's more of a mix of different things he likes from different players. Snead might be the closest if you're just looking at one person.

He likes what Sadlowski and Bubba do with their legs and pelvis, he likes what Waite does with the shoulder plane, probably what Hogan does with shaft plane as well, I've heard him talk about loving Sergio's chest rotation.....He really doesn't have just one model.

Anybody else having trouble with..I guess it would be the 3rd turn/into and thru impact? I've got the squat back to centered with the hands up and the next turn with the hands coming down to about hip height...it just seems like I run out of acceleration at that point and have to force myself into impact. Does this make any sense at all?

At speed, it has to be one fluid motion. You can't try to hit positions in slomo and have fluidity

He allows for quite a bit of liberty throughout the swing but certainly has principles he prefers to see wrt setup, the first part of the takeaway, transition, etc. etc. He likes Johnny Ruiz's action, also is pretty happy with where he has his swing these days. Clearly they both have similar looks but there are a bunch of his other students with diff. looks.

There are a few YouTube and IG's where he mentions a "stock" model and various matchups.

The whole external rotation of the lead knee and squatting of the trail knee or as he calls it "flexion" is pretty darn hard to execute. I've watched the videos like 100 times and I can't get it down

It's not as hard as you're likely making it. Take a ball that will fit in between your knees at address. Take a backswing and drop the ball in transtion to start the downswing.

Simplify the process and just try and keep the right knee from going internal for longer. Then the full move will be easier.

All "tips" are welcome. Instruction not desired.

Then if you do it enough it starts to happen naturally :-)

Thanks Monte. Great to see you chime in. Hearing it in a different way sometimes help.

I have difficulty with NOT starting the down swing with my arms so yesterday I tried this.

Pre swing I simply externally rotated my left knee towards the target FIRST. It means that your left foot is flared almost 45° but when you take your back swing there's a great feeling of "stretch" . Your left knee will want to kick in a bit and I let it but as soon as I finished my back swing I let it kick back and my arms shallowed themselves as everything was pulled through.

Nice feeling

OK I admit, I am probably a bit slow. Still, I have no idea what he did wrong or what #freeHstead

#memberlivesmatter means. Can somebody please explain in regular language?

When someone wrongfully(sometimes rightfully) goes to jail, the younger generation will print t-shirts that say "Free *name*", ie release him from custody. Recently that there have been several social "movements", titled "black lives matter" and "all lives matter". I have started a movement for wrx'ers that will forever be known as "member lives matter", letting the current administration know that we are tired of being oppressed and being denied valuable insight because a troll or two decided to turn a great thread into a dumpster fire. The # gets placed in front of a word or phrase because it makes you appear cooler.

Thank you but I still don't know what crime was committed though.
