Count me in the ankle sock club. Started way back in school. I was a sprinter on the track team. All the guys wore them, and soon I did too. Haven't bought a long sock since except for my wedding day and to wear with a suit ( funeral etc ). The ankle socks are just way more comfortable.

Certainly a monday-discussion, but seriously, no one feels uncomfortable when those cuffs start chafing the ankles? I'd rather have the handy protection of mid-calf coverage. I mean you certainly wouldn't have a bare ankle with jeans and sneakers, would you?

 

if your pant cuffs are actually chaffing and rubbing your ankles, then you've got a pants problem, not a sock one.

 

and i only own ankle and no show socks, so whether its jeans, golf pants or khakis, it's bare ankles and showing some skin for me.

No show socks are the style even with suits now? I guess I need to go by some knee high socks. Don't want to break 49 year streak of being out of style.
