Conversation with my son, today there are web sites that produce code that will work across any equipment or software with only very small anomalies when producing a web page, it’s only incompetence or idleness that stops it being used.

FWIW response this morning is much crisper than it has been since the roll-out of the enhanced editor. I have no idea if this means that they've got things playing nice or it's just a reflection of low traffic and time of day.

I'm feeling rather blue this morning a our beloved Ti-Cats were clobbered by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Grey Cup game 33-12. They were never in the game, turning the ball over twice in the first two possessions! The score actually flatters Hamilton as Winnipeg scored on 7 of their last 8 possessions of the ball. It was as if the players were completely overwhelmed by the enormity of the situation as their play didn't remotely resemble what we saw during the regular season or in the playoffs.

And so we soldier on with next season marking 21 years since hoisting the cup... Both quarterbacks are free agents and the nature of the short term contracts that predominate the CFL means that there will be lots of turnover personnel wise. It's such a shame to have a record season go to waste without finishing the deal. Two years ago they didn't even make the playoffs, so to say just run it back for another shot is far from a certainty especially with the realities of a salary-cap. Fortunes can change very quickly.

My problem is LOFT -- Lack of friggin' talent

@SixtySomePing thank you for the condolences. I was okay with the outcome last night because as awful as the loss was there was a feel-good story for the victors in that it was a sort of retribution for quarterback Zach Collaros who used to play for Hamilton and went down to a tragic injury in the middle of the 2016 season. He has never been the same since and bounced around the league from city to city missing most of this year in fact when he suffered a concussion in the first game of the season. He eventually landed in Winnipeg at the tale end of the season and played their last 4 games including the playoff run. I'm happy for him because he deserves it!
This morning I'm just gutted as we have sat through a lot of terrible years in the last 21 seasons to get this opportunity only to come up short. It's just so hard to get there and the last 10 times this team (over 40 years) has made it to the big game they have won it exactly twice. This was supposed to be their year and now it's not...
With the Grey Cup game being hosted in Hamilton in 2021 the team has put on the full court press asking for a three year season seat commitment to ensure a ticket to the Grey Cup. I'm left asking why? DW wants it so we'll be doing it, but if it were up to me they have pretty much exhausted my emotional energy. They want you to invest so much into the team and be supportive, but when they continually come up short eventually you ask yourself why am I letting them continue to do this to me?
I feel for the players. It's a brutal game that destroys the body. Just look at almost any former pro when they're in their 50's or 60's all crippled up, with far too many of them punch drunk from the after effects of multiple concussions. Not everyone gets the ring and yet they all put the same effort into it.

It is Monday, the 25th day of November....3 days before the Holiday, and the temperature is a balmy 57 degrees. I got 12 in today,

on an almost empty course. I only did 12, because i was hitting an extra three shots or more on each hole. Wore myself out !

Had a great time, played better than i expected. Beautiful day, and i hope all you guys get a chance to get another round in .

The rain is forecast here tomorrow evening, so i will try it again tomorrow !

The site seems to be working fine, no freezes, no lags,no jumping all over , all is serene on WRX !

My only complaint is the post seems out of whack and when i hit the edit button, to correct it and get the paragraphs lined up

the darn thing shows it exactly the way it should be. I hit save and PRESTO ! Back to a cobbled up post.

Sounds like first world problems,i know !

Just a question, about Cobra clubs. Does anyone know what is going on with them? Dicks Sporting Goods, the other two in this area,do not carry them anymore,.

they are no longer listed as a club to select on EBay. You can search and find them, but they have been removed from the selection list. Just curious if

any of you have heard anything.

When the rugby games in Australia used to be semi professional, I always followed a local team, after they went fully professional and started earning big money they forgot who it was put them there in the first place, the fans who turned up every week to watch them play. They are so full of themselves now they do not ever acknowledge the fact the fans still have some say in their game, they live in this bubble that cuts them off from the rag tag so called fans, the way they behave in public is a disgrace, they think normal laws don’t apply to them, So now I follow no team and take very little interest in the games.???

Of course if I ever get banned here you guys know where I am at--- In fact I was there before I was here--- There are a couple of the guys from the Classics Section over there too.

It's different here and the players are the reason why. Many live in the community year round and are quite active in local charities giving back to the fanbase so to speak. I've met many of them over the years and most are just real hard working down-to-earth guys. I think what separates our footballers from the rest of professional athletes is the pay level. These guys are doing it for the love of the game. The minimum is $54K. I wouldn't put my body through that for $54K! The highest paid player in the league is quarterback Mike Reilly and he makes $750K, so the wages actually have some semblance to the real world and folks who are buying tickets. The entire budget for a team's payroll in $5.2M under the salary cap. With 45 guys on the active roster, the average player is making just over twice the minimum. Yes, it's still a lot of money, but it's no where near the sort of figures that you see being thrown around in other professional leagues. There has only ever been one work stoppage in the CFL and no regular season games were lost. Edmonton, Saskatchewan and Winnipeg are community owned teams, so I think that also adds to the connection.

Over here the pro sports men and women are on stupid amounts of money, millions for a few years contract. Quite honestly do not see the value particularly when quite often the stadiums are half empty. T V advertising is what drives it.?

I still have no clue why the " Leave a comment" box, which i am typing in

should be sooooo large. We could write the U.S. Constitution in here !

Still have a small amount of lag,not nearly as bad as it was. And I still see

where the system spell check isn't a candidate for the spelling bees !

Since it is just the wife , the little dog and me we are having home made from scratch beef Enchiladas and Spanish Rice and I will of course have plenty of Cholula hot sauce to put on it for me. We are looking forward to a day of rest

And so it begins...

AMPML434PMCD.jpgSomewhat different views from what I posted two weeks ago and the aftermath of the first lake effect snow of the season.

Looks naked at this stage. Not sure how much they will complete at this late date, but at least I'll have a spot for snow now. ?

@scomac2002. Sometimes with projects, the only heavy lifting one needs to perform is writing the check. Easier on the back also.
Speaking of snow or the lack thereof. Was a splendid day here, sunny, saw 53* on the thermo. Was golf weather. Except I had pre-planed errands to accomplish. Drove by the golf course and there were 25 cars or better in the parking lot. Golf carts out on the course. Got a call from one of the buds, "We should be playing today!" No shizzle sherlock. Definite lack of advance planning. By us.
Sheesh. After a day of somewhat benign behavior, the lag and backspace run-on is back. Just deleted two sentences worth before I could get it to stop. Don't understand the intermittency. Aggravating to say the least. Should post a beef about it in the "odd box".
And the "This webpage is using significant energy. Closing it may improve the responsiveness of your Mac" message just popped up. One I never, ever saw before this "Enhanced Editor" business. Something is occurring with this site's software that is placing an increased demand on my laptop's resources.

Man I'd like to be on the first tee tomorrow, wind advisory of 20-30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. Now that would be a tee shot with the wind.

I don't want to see anyone get injured but I got this email from the power company talking about weather advisory and downed tree limbs and power outage possibilities, and so I'm thinking 'Yes!', I got this generator installed just in time...

In reality though, I hope the nasty weather doesn't mess up travel plans for people, there may be delayed flights due to the wind. I see this post is getting delayed due to my cursor hopping out of position to random spots.

Likewise here tomorrow. High winds, rain, nastiness. Wind speeds are already noticeably increasing, from just an hour ago. Certainly hope everyone impacted are able to stay out of harms way during these climatic conditions. However, you are now in a position to scoff at the weather. Let the power go out. Because you're prepared. You have a generator. And will not be denied your morning cup of coffee.

Imagine the possibilities. On the tee. A 40+ mph blow, downwind. Might be able to lace one out there 235. Maybe even 240 if I catch it especially pure. Loft up and carry.

Oh they do have an "odd box". It's where you get placed by the Powers that Be if one doesn't play nice with others. Of varying durations or permanently. Depending on the magnitude of one's transgressions.

This is an odd box ^. Guess that's the new and improved quote box. Another odd box shows up now if you post a link. Dam(n) backspace run-on. Why can't they fix that? I don't need no more stinking boxes.
