Ok, what pant was JD wearing yesterday?

 

I only see one available in "max orange" from the NDC site (Nike Modern Tech), but on another site, shows the only "max orange" as the Dynamic Woven pant (both appear to have the same SKU.

 

I have to believe this is the same pant.

Judging by the details of the pant and materials used, they are the same. For whatever reason, NDC will have slightly different names for items than on other sites.

 

I'm really interested in these and the pants and shorts. 'Bout time they used more spandex.

 

Felt weird to say that.

 

Funny thing is, Nike had them listed as the Dynamic Woven in the catalog also. I am close to grabbing a pair in Wolf Grey, can always send back on NDC for free.

 

Yeah that's really weird. They seem like they might be a little slimmer than last years pants. Let us known how they are if you pull the trigger.

Looks like the swoosh is higher on the left chest in the 2017 clothing that I have seen so far.

 

I wonder how close the swoosh is to where you would find it on Nikes jerseys in other sports. Go all in on"athlete" and make it more of a jersey than a just a polo.

Anybody tried these Pro Performance hats yet? Basically looks like an adjustable Classic 99.

 

 

Can you bend the brim on this hat (or the trucker one a few posts up? Not much of a flat-brim guy, but the True Tour hats didn't take a bend very well and looked weird.

i haven't had that hat personally (yet), but looking at the brim, i'd imagine it's similar to the true tour hat, and a similar hurley snapback which i actually own. the brims are very light, they can be bent slighty, but tends to go back flat rather easily.

bought this hat, but was disappointed to find out upon delivery that the crown is black and not anthracite like in the image. i don't think they even have an all black version so i'm. confused as to how that happens. the underside of the bill IS anthracite though. i'll be returning it and getting the max orange and black version instead.

So it is a black logo on a black front panel?

yep. totally disappointing. maybe they'll update the site but i doubt it. and now that i look at the max orange one, i realize that the top of the bill is supposed to be anthracite, when in my opinion it should be black to match the mesh. im not sure if i want that one any more either unless it turns out the bill is also black and not anthracite.

 

should be one coming out with a wolf grey crown. i think i'll wait for that one.

This happens a lot with their product pictures. They do update the pictures on the site but it can take months.

Just tried in. Bill bends easy but it's a deep hat. I didn't care for it too much.

I was gonna say only on DGW and NDC, but that wouldn't be any help to you.

 

I'm sure they'll be easily available at other retailers in a few weeks when the 2017 stuff comes in.

for anyone that has any of the 2017 hats, is the fit comparable to last year? It seemed like all the sizes got a bit "bigger" in hats last year.

 

I have a small melon, and the Tour Perf Ultralight was just a huge hat last year. It also seemed like the S/M fitted were bigger.

I was just thinking about pulling the trigger on these this morning......, and then a review popped up. It does not look good.

 

loose and short is not something I want to hear. Why would they dump size 28W, and make them bigger?

 

Nike has gone a goofy direction in pants, should have never stopped with the v-notch, the tapering is getting a little much also, and this cropping?

I've only gotten the Max Orange True Tour so far but it's the exact same as last year's.

A similar cut to last year's Modern Woven and certainly not tighter, in fact the bit of spandex and the elasticated waist makes a big difference to the comfort. They remind me of the TW pants from a couple of years ago except with modern cut.

The inseam comes in the usual options (at least in the U.K.) in 30, 32 and 34 - maybe I'm getting confused here and you're referring to the crop trousers or joggers, I have the standard trouser which replaces for 2017 the Modern Woven pant from 2016 as per here:

The sizing is standard Nike, I've always been 34/34 and last years Woven pants were a little bit tight at the waist whereas this year with the additon of the elastic they fit great. They also have the feeling of more substance than last year, if you remember the white model was basically see through but I suspect the 2017 white will look a lot better.
