I find the app incredibly frustrating to use. I gave up on it. Maybe cause it was because i was walking maybe not. Too much hassle during the round. I just punch it in in 30 seconds on the desktop when I get home

Alert the grint support about issues you may be having. They are usually really good about helping out. I have issues with them as well at times, but the support have always helped me

I may use a rangefinder and huge driver, but otherwise this luddite enjoys the lack of tech in golf. I like the act of getting the card out and marking some numbers down with a tiny pencil.

Agree that it's a doddle to quickly punch in the stats later on an actual 'puter :)

and that is no problem haha. I was giving him some advice if he wanted to try and see about it getting fixed. I still use the ole scorecard occasionally when on a new or famous course.

I also meant to reply to you. If the app crashes, all the holes prior to the one it crashed on will usually be saved and you can resume the round once you start it back up

Played my first tournament round yesterday and hope I entered it correctly. I did enter it as a "WRX Web Tour 2017 : April 1.0 2017 : Round 1" and hope that's correct.

I wrote everything on my scorecard then entered it into the app last night WITH an image of the card.

When I looked it up again this morning on their website my GIR's had been calculated by someone else which was cool because I didn't enter them into the app last night. Interesting.

Lastly, when I viewed my round today on the web, I noticed there was a box you could check for "Club's Tournament Score", so I did. Again, I hope this was correct.

 

Not a great round and I haven't played that course but maybe 3 times now but I did commit to using it as a WRX Grint tournament round before teeing off.

Without getting too technical I had it backwards I kept trying to correct the right miss by using my arms more. Well that just made it worse. Coach reminded me that body makes ball go left arms make the ball go right. We worked on backswing hip turn last time and this time we added a proper weight shift and boom. I was loading my left side instead of the right on the back swing. Still dealing with a lot of pain compensation from when my hips went bad on me so hitting into a stable left side will feel weird for a while until I get used to not moving laterally. Basically he got me into a position where I did not have to force anything and by being in better position

 

Here is the 6 iron, did not grab a driver video Prob should have done a face on to see the move to the right better. Much more shallow coming into the ball better position at the top. Better balance, better footwork than before. We will continue to clean up the going just past parallel at the top and tempo, I have been working on flexibility a bunch and while nice I need to remember that it is not always a good thing to go past parallel

Not really but some days it's infuriating. Hit a few balls before playing 9 today. Hit a couple of drives around 260 and all of a sudden I think

I'm DJ or something and need to swing harder. 3 OB drives later I've shot a 45 and want to scream :lol: If I were in my twenties I'd probably have broken

a driver and 7 iron.

Posted my first round yesterday. No chance to warm up and a new putter but still hit the ball fairly well. Kept it in the fairway, but short game killed me. 4 or 5 three putts on the front. Turned it around on the back though, went from 53 on front to 43 on back with no three putts, a couple pars and a birdie.

 

Started breaking 90 at the back half of last year, hoping to be more consistently in the 80s this year once I get in mid season shape.
