I've had a few Scotty. But always the mallet style. I love my Cameron & Crown 6m because I prefer an aluminum face. It's nice high MOI and interchangeable weights make it pretty much the perfect putter and I roll it very very well. HOWEVER, on longer puts, my dispersion is noticeably larger compared the the Evnroll ER10 I got last month. I love my Scotty, but the results don't lie... Evnroll has me smitten.

I have a toulon san diego and las vegas and i love how clicky and hot they feel off the face, compared to the bettinardi SS28 I have which feels very soft. I like the feel better than the newer generations of scottys that I dont think feel as nice off the face. Also a huge fan of the stroke lab shaft

I like the idea behind EVN but I cant get over the aluminum sound. Hopefully they fix that in the future and I will be using one

The industry is very incestuous. Engineers and designers jumping from one to another. It's almost to the point that it's tough to really differentiate your product. Having said that, it comes down to branding and marking that each company is able to invest in. So... really it is your preference that matters the most.

I've bought 2 different Evnroll putters over the years. I tried to love them but couldn't and they were returned.

I've also owned a pre-Evnroll putter by Guerin Rife. I couldn't fall in love with that one either.

I like his concepts but the execution just fails for me. Maybe it's just me.

I know a local tour instructor who swears they are legit. He's been to the Evnroll HQ and says he's seen the testing with his own eyes. Sure, maybe the face technology actually makes a difference if you make the exact same miss 10,000 times. Well guess what? None of us are test robots who are going to hit the exact same putt 10,000 times. And of course, who cares if you are 5 inches away from the hole instead of 6 inches away from the hole. You still missed the putt either way and at least for me a 5 inch tap in is the same as a 6 inch tap in.

I'm not going to say it's the groove technology alone, but I have the ER10, and my dispersion on longer putts is noticably better than with my Scotty, Odyssey, or my Bettinardi by far.

The ER10 is a beast when it comes to stability. It's basically a larger Spider X or 2 ball ten IMO. I've toyed around with one and it was just too big for my eyes but it felt nice to swing.

I can totally see that. I have a Scotty 6m, so it was already a bit larger making this not seem that different to my eye. I just got my SIk Flo C and it looks so small compared to it lol. I want to put a Stability shaft in the ER10 and see how that will work; I have a good feeling about it.

I'm going to say Evnroll because that's what I game and like to think that putting is a strength in my game. I've tried Scotty's and Toulon along with the other premium brands and nothing has fit me better than the Evnroll ER2B (w/ stability shaft). That being said, go with the putter that fits you the best. If you address the ball and putt with confidence then I don't care if you're using a putter from the local putt-putt course or if its a $2000 Scotty Tour Only. I wasted a ton of money going for putters that just didn't fit me. Get a putter fitting to narrow down the type of putter that fits you (shape, off-set, neck style, length) and go from there. I know I'm a single or double bend, wide-blade, 34" guy. So I know not to venture out too far when messing around at the golf shop trying out putters.
