New Red Odyssey O-Works putters: 2017 Dean & DeLuca

This color is terrible... Just release the head/ neck combos to retail and let the consumer spray paint the top if they really want a Red putter. Why would a company so obviously rip off a competitors product? have some decency Odyssey

 

BTW... the Spider Tour Red is popular on tour because the insert is softer than the Tour Black insert and more players prefer that feel over the firmer Tour Black insert. i don't think the color has much to do with the popularity of the head/ insert combo. Just marketing

 

Actually this is not true. TM does not allow anyone but DJ to play a black one. I'm susrprised more Pro's just don't go out and buy the black ones at retail and put them in play if TM is not letting them have one.

This may be strong, considering i game a white TM putter - but the red is pretty hateful to look at.

The O-Works is an incredible putter and I like the original Versa look as well as the black. This red? No good. Not a fan.

Callaway is really knocking it out of the park between loosing Rory, the atrocity of the Epic irons, and this desperate money grab act. Funny that this is the same company that marked a staff bag "innovate or die".

Talked to my Callaway rep and he said these will hit the market along with the black flow neck series with the words "if TaylorMade can, so can we" and a laugh. Did not gave me a release date though. Also said the new Apex pro irons is LEGIT

I'm putting lights out the last few weeks with a counter balanced 38" #7 o-works in the only currently available color scheme. I am a huge fan of center shafted putters though and would love to see more options than the R-line 9which is usually sold out). It appears there is one coming from the picture of all of them together? I would imagine that they will continue to release updates as the season progresses.
