It was finalized weeks ago and will be at my door Monday! I just keep building it so I can look at it :)

Are the weight options always fixed? You can't go lower than 352G on any putter?

You could remove the aluminum plate entirely and you'd have 345.

Yeah, I thought of that but didn't know if it would affect playing characteristics. I really like to get to 340 or 330 but doesn't look like that can happen.

 

What about flexibility in options, I thought I read earlier in the thread you could ask them for stuff that's not on the website? For example, I want a San Diego with an H2 neck that is available on other putters but not on that one for some reason?

I'm puzzled by the lack of talk and purchasing of the Toulon Long Island verse the other models. Is it that distinctive of a shape that only fits to certain minority of eyes, kinda like the 8802 shape?

 

I know I love mine and that's what's important.

If someone gets a putter fitting at the shop, the most common results on the SAM Putt Lab are Face Balanced-30* and 30*-45*. Long Island having 50* toe hang just doesn't get back to square for most. I love mine(start of this thread) and it won't go anywhere for a long while..! Look is great for those who play the style!!

Kinda silly on my part not thinking of that being an engineer (Hand hits forehead) totally make sense when factoring in new tech and testing. For me, I need a stick to look & feels right 1st and then move on to the other factors.

If you ordered it from the Garage before the Garage covers came out, they will definitely send you a Garage cover.

Man...I love their putters but they don’t hold up value wise. I’m considering ordering a Rochester from the garage, but at $630 (including the $50 promo) I’d be taking a beating if I don’t love it when it arrives.

I’d go for the black finish. I wouldn’t expect to get all of my money back if I wound up selling it, but I’m not willing to take a 40-50% hit.

The box that Toulon Design uses to deliver your putter and the other little accessories to come with it is legendary! Very impressive and it’s detail and it’s pretty good size. The black inner box is 44x9. There is a outer shipping box is slightly bigger than that.

 

Here is a picture of the inner box. Again, it is shipped in a slightly bigger box.

 

Hope that answers your question if not let them know what your concerned about. I’m sure there’s ways to get a smaller box of that’s what you need

I’m sure that they would work with you to accommodate that. Just get in touch with Customer Service. I know there’s been putters delivered to Australia. Maybe even guys here on GolfWRX could give you suggestions.
