I was thinking this was an attempt at humor but I guess not. Boo's shirt is not a typical golf shirt but I do not feel that it is sloppy. I am not a member of a golf course or country club but do play at a place that is in great shape with super greens. A person that wears a Columbia shirt to where I play would not get a second glance.

That may well be but I doubt that the planes taking off and landing won't be nearly as irritating as that low flying tow plane that was so annoying last week. NBC was apologetic while denying responsibility (which they were correct in noting) but, surely, given all the technical ability of these people, there must be a way to mute that particular range of noise to the point where it doesn't intrude. My complaint isn't just with the past tournament--NBC allows a plane to fly over two early in the year Hawaiian tournaments and that plane is equally annoying--especially so because all those overhead shots provide is an occasional whale, surfers, kayaks, etc--which adds absolutely nothing to the golf but does provide the announcers to babble, at least a thousand times, about how beautiful Hawaii is. If I wanted a paen to Hawaii, I'd turn on the Travel Channel.

BTW, listening to today's broadcast, I can hear that tow plane again! The idiots seem to be making their "statement", their whining about the LPGA's refusal to toady to freaks, this weekend. Give me patience.

For the bigger events, WGC, Majors, Memorial etc Sky move their whole crew over so it is UK commentators with local pictures. For the small events it is two anchormen in the UK, one on site and pictures and sound from whoever is providing it.

 

So this week we get the same ridiculous break while they swap from GC to CBS. We get IBF, Capt smarm, Kostis , Dottie and that barmpot yapping on like a demented poodle.

It's funny seeing this. I was paired with a twosome on Friday and he was wearing one of those PFG or whatever fishing shirts. They look ridiculous on the golf course and should absolutely not be allowed on tour of all places. I don't like the Paul Casey and Rory shirts either. Mine as well just allow t-shirts.
