Didnt want to read through 35pages to see if anyone else brought this up but am i the only one who doesnt particularly like Poulter? All i think of for him is the stories of him getting two different spectators fired from their jobs for giving him a hard time at a tournament, pretty unnecessary imo. Could have these stories wrong if so let me know, but if they hold true i just don't get whats to like.

Disappointed Rory couldn't get it going. Really thought he would give himself a chance tomorrow. Just hasn't been his year.

 

His putting is awful. I just wonder what he does in his spare time. It's his job. Putting isn't rocket science. Yet he misses 95% on the low side. I've got zero sympathy for him. Love it when he plays well but he's made it clear in the last 18 months in his interviews that he doesn't care enough.

Yeah I agree you can't keep missing short putts and 3 putting like he has this week and expect to win, no sympathy clearly doesn't care potentially due to his new wife.

I thought that was the case but all the announcers have been talking about how great it is to have him back on tour & everything, and im just wishing he'd go away.

What I find annoying, for no logical reason, is how "we" parred the 8th...I can't really argue with some of the logic if I sit and think, it still annoys me though. Great golfer, looks like he will walk it unless he blows up. Only Saturday though loads can happen.

Ah, "we" instead of "he." Correct pronoun usage isn't hard and yet people fail to proofread. The educator in me cries a little every time I see that. It's either that or someone living vicariously through insert tour pro here.

I thought that was the case but all the announcers have been talking about how great it is to have him back on tour & everything, and im just wishing he'd go away.

 

I think the only people glad he is back on tour are the banks who hold his loans.

Yeah, you are both wrong--Speith is a fine player who, for his age, plays a very mature game. I'm also enjoying the Open, especially the crowds. How nice to not hear "IN THE HOLE" on the tee box of a long par five!!!! Polite applause and a few "KOOOCH's" is the way fans ought to react--congrats to you Brits out there.
