Lowest scoring average would be my guess. Announcers have to use hyperbole with everything. I wouldn't get broken up over it.

That is some crazy athleticism to pull this move off, both feet off the ground with a 100 yard wedge. Look at where her toe starts with the driver and ends up. A big save move like Bubba.

I was planning to watch this yesteday, but my DVR had other ideas and decided to record the 2 am rebroadcast. 'Luv technology.

 

Well, Lexi did try to make it interesting on 16 with a rinsed ball. I still say this should have been the finishing hole, as excitement awaits. Anyway, nice win for her, as she stayed aggressive, and her short putts looked solid.

 

'Not really sure how Lydia and Candie managed to flay so flat after collectively shooting -29 in the first two rounds. It was nice to see Lydia in contention again. Lots of positives for her this week.

 

'Very nice charge by Minjee. I don't think a win was in the cards, but a solo 3rd was a bit unexpected.

 

Great week for Olafia. After missing the cut in 10 of 19 events, and a previous best finish of 13T, she scores her first top ten with a 4th place finish.

The scores on Saturday were much higher than the first two rounds. Wind? Pin positions?

 

I thought the course looked great, but 18 was a boring finishing hole. If they want to finish in the infield (I don't know why), they should finish on the 8th hole with the water on the left. (The 8th played as the 16th this week). Given that the players had to be carted from outside the track to the infield, it would be easy enough to drive them to the 9th, and play the 9th, 10th, 7th, and 8th as the final four holes.

Now you all will probably argue that Lexi has a better scoring average and more money than IKK, but come on now. Stats, schmats. Greatness in golf is defined mostly by wins, you know it and I know it!

There were 2 Pete Dye Courses that recently closed in Simi Valley, Ca - Lost Canyons (Sky and Shadow). Both courses were brutally tough. I took some buddies there who vowed never to go back after. Both courses are being converted to houses. Yes Mr Dye is a sadistic man. :D
