Ive been using too much of my lumbar region in my swing and have been getting lumbar/sacral pain lately. Having been on the receiving end of back surgery to relieve a lower herniated disc and sciatica, I have definitely lost some rotational mobility. Couple that with longer working hours (mostly sitting that compounds my issues) and a recent blended marriage with now 5 children, my exercise time has been drastically reduced. I can get good couple of runs in during the week, incorporate some yoga and range time. This system looks portable, so I could incorporate it into my run cool downs and stretching. Anything that could help increase spinal stability for my health AND improve my golf game is a win win.

Given my size and relative youth, I get frustrated at the distances I get (or rather don't get) out of my shots. I've always suspected my rotation to be a big part of it. I've tried to be conscious of it, but I think the Swing Kit is something that can truly help me make a difference.

Thislooks very cool. Up here in Canada we're coming down to our last couple weeks of the season and are staring down 6 months without an open golf course around here.

 

This kind of training could do wonders during 'simulator season' when we're hitting balls off astroturf, and trying to take swings to the next level for spring. For me personally, I can see how it could help with both posture/spine angle, and keeping the scaps in a better position.
