Can anyone comment on the roshes little nubs durability when using the shoes as range shoes and primarily on mats?

 

I typically goto the range 2-3x a week for a bucket. My previous lunar cypress shoes i Used on course then transitioned them to range shoes. The nubs are gone, thebwear from the matsbhave taken their toll and some of the "spikes" on them are no longer there (flat).

 

My range schedule is just like yours and even from using them on the course walking/riding, the nubbies are all still there. But then again I only weigh 120lbs.

 

Not recommending Roshes for wet weather anything. Morning dew included.

Apologies if this was addressed earlier in the thread, but....does the LCV2 fit the same as the LCV? Or are there any meaningful differences?

For me the LCV are narrower, LCV 2 are a bit too wide for my skinny feet.

 

I still use both pairs but prefer LCV.

Great. Thanks for the insight. Got a pair from the company store and desperately needed new range shoes. I like a pair I can slip on, drive, hit the range, drive home. Don’t like to change shoes just to hit the range. I won’t be using these on the course after bcf’s deals last year and some of the other purchases, I’ve got plenty for the course itself.

For me the LCV are narrower, LCV 2 are a bit too wide for my skinny feet.

 

I still use both pairs but prefer LCV.

Tbh, I like the fit and feel of the racer more than the roshe. But the diff I’n the price makes it a no brainer to stick with the roshe.

Interesting. The Roshe is noy favorite summer golf shoe. Comfy, light, not bulky.

My views on the recent above.....

 

1. The Roshe G are poor golf shoes if you walk. Just about passable for the driving range

2. Lunarlon provides decent and comfortable cushioning but are no where as good as Boost based shoes

3. Both my pairs of Lunar Command 2 make a "farting" sound when I walk and other wearers say the same

 

Disagree on #1. The shoe just probably doesn't fit your foot. All shoes aren't a uniform fit.

 

1.Roshe G's are good for warm dryish weather. For the morning dew, these are poo. Comfy enough for long practice sessions and a quick executive 9.

2. Lunarlon is amazing. Haven't tried anything boost cause you can't mix the 3 stripes and the glorious check mark.

3. Never had golf shoes fart on me, but a few others have mentioned this. My left armpit farts sometimes when I hit a cut.

 

UPDATE, Holein8 is correct. First time for me but my Lunar Command 2's that i've only tried on before leaving the house with them, began farting on me as I began walking from my car to the clubhouse. This shoe farting thing is real guys

Flyknit racers are the disappointment of the year for sure!

 

Hoping Nike comes back to my loving arms next year. Need more spikes in my life!!!

They are flimsy, no support, and really uncomfortable, especially compared to my Zoom 90's and Puma Pwradapt's. I only walked around the store in them, so the ground was much harder than grass, but they weren't for me.

I saw another quick clip after my post above here and got a better look at them and the undeniable LC2 features, the big external heel cup and forefoot swoosh were there plain as day. Sorry for the false alarm...I got a little LC3 hysteria for a sec.

I am right there with you. I knew I'd be buying a pair as soon as I saw pics on here, love the look. Then I went and tried them on and hated them. Somehow the Flyknit on these feels nothing like the Flyknit on other Nike shoes, it's somehow thin and rigid but unsupportive and uncomfortable all at the same time. I usually wear an 8.5 or a 9 in Nike and alternate between AM90s and FI Bermudas right now. Because the fabric is so structured, in the 8.5 and 9 my toes had way too much room vertically (not width-wise) and the shoe did not feel "snug" at all. That aspect was better when I sized down to an 8 but at that point they were just too short, when I walked the toe-box would crease and push down into the top of my foot. Really disappointed in these.

Nice pics of them. I believe the black/white one is on sale on NDC. But I doubt they’ll include them the next clearance sale.

 

Always the good golf stuff is excluded.
