Noticed some discounting on Nike's site today. Does this mean 2019 models are coming soon?

 

I want to get a pair of Lunar Control Vapors, but am trying to hold off in case 3's get announced with the 2019 line-up (so that I can either buy 3's or get a nice discount on 2's).

A stack of Lunar Control Vapor 2 have appeared on eBay at about half price. All seem to be the blue/grey colour though.

Royal Blue roshe's are on sale for 65$ online right now, and the premiums are down to 88$.

 

How's the grip on these? I love my normal roshes, but never had a golf version.

Can u put the roshes in the washing machine and just air dry. I have the white/blue/gold version and they need to be cleaned.

Sure can. I did this and they turned out nearly new looking. Use cold water with cold water detergent then air dry. You can also soak the laces in bleach and water.

Wore my Tours yesterday for the first time and man are they comfy. I did have a half a hole period where I had a sharp pain on the outside of my right foot. At first thought it was the shoes but it stopped hurting and didn’t hurt again so I’m assuming it wasn’t the shoes.

I know it was probably mentioned before but did everyone order the Tour Primere’s in: their normal Nike size, 1/2 size up or a full size up?

Normal size, and they are a half size small at least. I had to replace the insole with a thinner one.

I was wondering the same thing, was on Nike's site yesterday trying to pick up a new pair of shoes and pretty much every color of every model was out of my size. I must have missed the drop on the White/Dark Grey/Laser Orange Luncar Command 2 Boa's but they didn't have my size. And the all white Tour Premiere's are pretty much sold out of my size almost everywhere I looked. 2019's have to be coming soon. Back to my dirty smelly shoes until they come out I guess haha :)

But while I loved Nike's 1st Lunar Control, and the second ones were still pretty good, I am very disappointed at the move away from getting a good gripping sole on the shoe. I've gone back to FootJoy for that exact reason. FJ still actually thinks you want to be connected to the ground when you swing. Maybe I'm a minority, but the barely more grip than a running shoe style is not a good thing.

 

Have you seen the sole of the Lunar Control Vapor 2? How much more grip could you need?

 

You call that grip? That's barely more than an echo nub sole. If you think that is as grippy as the very first LC model, you and I will have to agree to disagree. They're not even in the same stratosphere.

I did, not much in my size that wasn't $400+ white/blue camo's from the PGA. I'm not too worried though, I will keep waiting around.

Interesting. I love the traction on the LCV2. They are some of my favorite shoes specifically for that reason.

Roshe's are perfect range shoes, dry walking 9 shoes or indoor sim shoes. Anything else I would wear something a little sturdier.

I have over 20 rounds in my Roshes, they are definitely my go to's. Trying them on in store and walking on concrete/carpet does feel somewhat weird. As soon as you walk on grass its a completely different feeling. I've never had any problems with traction, nor have I ever attempted to run backwards on a golf course...

Perfectly fine as a summer shoe. I've played at least 10 times in mine and not slipped once.

I wear the Roshes as a shop shoe at work and also a range/practice shoe. Extremely comfortable and I haven't experienced any slipping.

 

I did leave work one night and went grocery shopping in them. I know I stopped at least five times to check and see if anything was stuck on the bottom of my shoe. Weird feeling wearing them in that store.
