Where are  all the course pics and everyone talking about where there playing...

I'm stuck in the house.. I need something to read

Just make up stories if u have to 😆

I've playing and thinking about golf too much lately and experiencing diminishing returns. Haven't played in a week and don't expect to play for another week. Need a mental break.

Winter is on the way... Get as much in as you can... I guess you all can play year round down there though... Soon enough all we have is indoor sim golf... That is depressing

Two from my home course from last year. No.13 par three and the green on number 5.

Winter can vary a lot here.  Usually wet of course but sometimes little or no snow depending where u are. Some play all winter.  I stocked up on winter golf gear in 2020 knowing we would be stuck here but really haven’t chosen to do a lot of wet and cold golf.  Heading to Palm Springs in December for our first real trip and some winter golf  ( other than a couple of short road trips ) since we left PS early March 2020 just  before the world changed.

Good for u on the getaway this winter... I returned from Phoenix right before the world imploded as well... I would like to get back this year..

Seems we're doing Florida instead

Nice shot of 12 here. Next time you get down to the tall grass there for a photo op, take a look for the one I topped in there the other week!

He’s still looking for the ball I put in there in May 😅

I like it... Keep going with the pics...

What is the nicest course any of you have played ?

For me it would be Veraddo in Buckeye AZ

This was the Victory course... They also have the founders course

Pic was taken from the front of the tee box... The green is up in the back corner there

I'm not sure I could pick one.

I've always ranked Chambers very high on my list and keeping with WA, Gamble Sands is a great track too.

I've only played the Founders course there.  I remember it was very very difficult relative to the other courses we played on that trip.

Chambers is in my top 5 all time.  The course has it all IMO, including that feeling of being somewhere special when you're on the property.

I played with a couple from AZ this summer... They were on there way to Gamble Sands after there round at the Okanagan club... I heard its nice...

A friend just returned from a kootenay trip...

Looks as though I am doing a kootenays trip next... He said Greywolf and Copper point were some of the nicest courses he has played in BC

That's another course I would like to play someday

I figure I need to live to a 100 or win the lotto max to see and do everything I have planned 🤔

^ stupid course. lol

Ha. Should have seen  it when it first opened.  Tamer now though not one I look forward to playing.

My Clicgear broke down on the front nine maybe ten years ago  and that was interesting finishing the nine.   Took a power cart at nine and the shop said it was ok to leave it and they could fix it and get it to someone who needed one. Don't recall the actual issue, I think it was more than just brakes and it was out of warranty. I left it behind gladly.

I received an email from Leaderboard basically saying "click here to register for free round of golf" so I did.  It was unreal haha.  I figured it was a scam until I showed up and they had a tent set up.  I assumed everyone on their mailing list got the email but maybe not?

100% free round of golf on the Ridge for me (and a guest!), with powercart, range balls, and lunch - as well as a $25 gift card to Golftown.  Must have cost them a fortune.  Looked like they had the whole course booked out for the day.

Played Savage Creek in Richmond for the first time today with my wife.  Exec course, just 15 holes so far, 16th near completion. So not  Golf Canada rated  yet, which means it is a  legal non-handicap practice round.

My wife liked it  a lot, which is  a big deal as she doesn't play much at all and was sitting on t he fence if she would play ever again, even on holiday. This inspired her and she wants to get out there again.

Hole lengths  are much more varied with lots of elevation chamnges than it's sister Country Meadows  with some long par 3's and some par 4's (some are like "3 1/2's"). One that is labelled a par 5,  probably  because  of water that many players will be laying up for their second.  A fair number of blind tee shoots and some water not visible from the tee so we were glad to be paired up with  another couple that knew the course. The city dump in the back of the course notwithstanding, it's almost pretty, they obviously are working on that  and will look better over time as it matures.

The large maple leaf bunker beside a heart-shaped green was kind of cool. It stands out much better than the quick pic I took from the tee. A heart-shaped bunker on the other side.
