I almost wish this was a retail option. I know the market for the smaller 440 head is much smaller than it used to be but I do think these would sell much more than the stock SZ

Sorry to bump an older thread, but I just found one of these and decided to jump on it. My miss tends to be high on the face, and the new Rogue being shallower than the 460cc Epic Sub Zero hasn't really done much to help that.

 

Can anyone who has hit this compared to the standard Epic comment on how much deeper the face is compared to both the 460cc epic sub zero and the rogue sub zero? I have heard anything from 1/10 to 1/4 inches on just the epic from various sources, which would make it significantly deeper than the rogue. It seems like the forgiveness would be a little bit less than the epic and a bit less than the rogue, but the spin should be a bit less than both. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help clarify this for me.

I can't stand the huge driver heads. I'm going to have to bring this up when i get fitted for a new driver. The rogue looks great, I'm sure it's sweet, but the size is just too goofy looking for me, I'm 5'7 150 lbs... the head is bigger than my face.

 

I'd love to try this Epic SZ 440, if I can.

Got to hit it today compared to the rogue sub zero. It is a bit deeper, but not as deep of a face as I had hoped. Behind the ball, it looks tiny compared to the rogue. It was a bit less forgiving on mishits. I didn’t have a LM to verify launch and spin. I wanted to love it, but I’m not sure it’s the best fit for me. Going to give it a few more chances and see if it wows me as I get used to it, and if not, I’ll end up listing it for sale.

Wow. Do I dare ask where you found that? I don't recall seeing any pop up here or eBay. Great find! Hopefully it's a bomber.

I have the sub-zero limited edition. The head is all black with a black/white head cover with Carlsbad badging, and a Speeder 767 shaft.

I bought it because I really liked that the head is slightly smaller that the original that I played for a season.

Right now I'm using the Srixon, the Cally is my backup.
