Going to pull the trigger this week but have no clue a shaft for the hybrids. Also, fairly nervous to try them out without hitting them before.

 

I’m a moderate tempo. 101 SS with driver. Hit my 7i about 155 and my driver 260. My Adams hybrid 17° goes 230.

What did the online evaluation suggest? I did the online and for three ball flights it suggested three shafts, it just so happened that when I tested the 3h out at my local course the 3h had the adila blue shaft and sure enough it was perfect and I loved the flight.

 

I would see what is being suggested and then pick the flight you want, if you aren't tied to a specific one that isn't suggested. I REALLY loved the 3h setup, it outperformed my M2 3h, although I do kinda like the white on black the head of the M2 has, rather than all black but for the performance I'll do it.

 

I'm getting closer to pulling the trigger on my bag here soon!

Depending on the ball flight you are looking for, the blue generally is a better hybrid choice.

For those who ordered online or phone...what was the actual timeframe for clubs to be in your hands? I'm on day 4 after payment and still no in production status yet! Not sure why as I was told I would have clubs in 7-10 days ...

Even if that is business days, that would be next week sometime......now it's looking like week of the 20th at earliest ....might have gone with Ping had I known....just venting I guess, being impatient....ugh

Not sure where you heard that but it does specifically say to allow up to 4 weeks for building and delivery, though following this thread I'm sure they will be there quicker. From my experience with these and MY opinion only I'm sure the wait will be definitely worth it!! I think you probably made the better choice over Ping.

I ordered on July 23rd...heard nothing until I sent an email to [email protected]. They said order had been received, they were experiencing problems with automated response confirmations. They sent me a copy of my build sheet and I received my order August 4th. I was prepared for a longer wait but was happy with the 2 week turn around.

My first order took almost 3 1/2 weeks. I never got a confirmation they were officially being built but did get an email stating order was being processed and within a few days got shipping confirmation. I placed another order yesterday and was told by Kim timeframe is now 7-10 days. About 4 hours after placing order I got a confirmation my order was being processed. If going off first experience I'm hoping that means they're about to get built.

The story I got on the shipping price from PXG is it is a flat rate freight charge from Fedex and UPS based on the retail insured cost of the non-discounted product along with signature confirmation. So shipping a $400 hybrid insured is likely around $30. They are obviously not adjusting the shipping based on the discounted product prices. I have never paid $60 for a set of irons and a putter until now, but for the price it was worth it.

Isn’t that a little...shady business?

 

Suppose a $1000 set of irons were lost. The buyer will be refunded the $1000 but PXG will receive $2000, or the full non-discounted amount, less the cost of lost clubs because they can show the carrier the retail price of the set. Basically, still generating revenue on lost clubs.

From what I can remember, my buddy's order took exactly 4 weeks.
