My Sunbrella Showdown SLs arrived today.

 

I ordered these 1/2 size larger (size 10) compared to the FJ Pro SLs I wear and the fit seems good just walking around my house. Not narrow at all, I wear a Wide in FJ and these feel similar.

 

Nice cushioning and comfortable. Not stiff like some other UA shoes I have tried on and not bought.

 

I am worried the Sunbrella material may get dirty so I will likely save these shoes for range sessions and dry spring/summer golf. I do like the light gray color, more in person than when I first saw these online.

I like that color. Didn’t see the new showdown SL in the gray sunbrella option like last years. Where was that?

I think I may try the new spikeless in the leather version versus the sunbrella as long as they don’t look like plastic like the last version. From the pictures above it looks like it has decent room in the toe area

No size 13 in the HOVR Drive. they have 12 and 14 but no 13. Must have sold the one pair they had.

Any idea if the losing spike issue has been solved in the Spieth 3s. I loved my Spieth 2s, but quit wearing them because I kept ripping the spikes out when I would swing.

Ordered the leather white Hovr and the white spineless shoe with arrival sometime between Tuesday and Friday. I will report back once I get to try them out. Hope sizing is close.

I broke out the old black Drive Ones today. I have not worn them more than 4 or 5 times in 3 years. Man, they should have never screwed up that design. Awesome show.

Agreed the DO and tempo tour best two shoes they ever released. Can still find some new on eBay pretty reasonably priced.

I think the tempo tour is one of the best quality "retail" golf shoes I've ever seen, but the heel is incredibly stiff and absolutely destroys my ankles! How'd you get around this?

Can’t speak on comfort, but loving the looks of the showdown SL and the HOVR shoes. Some of my favorite looking shoes so far this year. And I’m typically not an under armour shoe fan

I assume you mean the woven ones? The clarino version looks like it would be reasonably easy to keep clean.
