Cleveland RTX 2's are probably dirt cheap now if you don't want to go for the RTX 3 V sole. If I were to try new (used) wedges I'd give the Ping Glide's a hit.

I'm a big fan of buying NEW 2-3 year old wedges. For example, the RTX 2.0 would be a great buy right now, as you can probably get them for around $50 each on one of the forums/facebook/ebay.

I got a set of the Cleveland RTX 2.0s in black satin from Rockbottom for $59 per wedge. I always check there for clearance wedges

Are those customizable with length of shaft and loft/lie from Rockbottom? I don't think I saw those options on the mobile version of their site.

I don't know if they're still available but for years and years Adams had a 3 wedge set bearing Tom Watson's name for under $100 USD. Never heard a bad thing said about them.

I bought the Watson wedges a few years back just for winter practice. I ended up using them the entire next year. Great wedges for the money!

Wilson Harmonized wedges arent gonna be fantastic imo

Not compared to a $130 wedge,no. But for the budget minded, they are great at $30. Tons of spin and a nice grind for the money. Trust me, I've played them before and I'd choose them over a Vokey myself. I've played numerous wedges and have a stash that's full of all different brands and the Harmonized can hang.

The Harmonized are cast copies of the famous Wilson "JP" ( Joe Phillips) grind wedges. Now I have several ( about 15 original JP wedges) and the Harmonized due to being cast and different materials are significantly lighter than the older JP wedges. I bought a brand new looking Harmonized the other day at Goodwill for $2.99 just to mess with. I like heavy wedges and I had to weight it up quite a bit with lead tape for me . It did not hit too bad. In all honesty I would not front line game it for me but even at $30 it is not all that bad of a wedge

No...but I have my own loft/lie machine and they bend easy.

So, after deciphering so many posts on here, I found a Nike Engage wedge, brand spanking new on eBay for £40

 

Without question the best, easiest wedge I've ever used....that includes Rotex, Mack Daddy, Wishon and Vokey.

 

There's something about how it sits behind the ball is so satisfying. The leading edge always rests under the ball, really under the ball and makes hitting it for chips & pitches so damn easy. Tight lies, wet lies... incredible

Maltby makes great wedges with any shaft or grip option.

Regarding Maltby, is the M series wedge finish more durable than the MG grind? Seems like the MG grind starts to lighten on me, especiallly in the face.
