Very true, they killed it back when they were still making golf clubs. Once they stopped that and focused on apparel and footwear, along went their social media presence among other things wrong with Nike Golf currently.

Very true, they killed it back when they were still making golf clubs. Once they stopped that and focused on apparel and footwear, along went their social media presence among other things wrong with Nike Golf currently.

 

the last instagram post on the dedicated Nike Golf account was October of last year. So, yeah, I think they've basically abandoned golf.

 

Even just the main Nike instagram account barely posts anything ,you'd think a company that wants to be popular or "hip" would have a better social media presence.

Flashback to 2017: I would say this was a hollow claim. You would think they would have actually wanted to shift the focus to apparel after giving Rory and JDay those big apparel deals. Unfortunately that does not seem to be the case. 2018 was not a great year for apparel and shoes IMO, and 2019 is not looking much better.

Seems like Daric Ashford needs a new position in the Nike family and they need to find someone who is passionate about golf.

He’s probably better off in the sock development team. He’s not doing good at Nike Golf.

I am so glad I got selected as a product tester, and have never seen or heard a word.

Agree with all of this, there are some great consultants here. And the we will be better at apparel; new gloves are non existent: it’s been 2 years. I didn’t care much for the new style of TW polos, where are the pants and shorts? Again, it’s been a few years. I haven’t seen a TW pant size in 34x35 or 34x36 in years. Even the non TW pants are hard to find in my length. Day was wearing TW shoes rather than designing him a JDay line. Rory is seemingly trying a hundred different shoes over the years too. I don’t like the new style of TW hats, haven’t seen new sweaters or cold weather gear for TW this year either.

In all seriousness I think last year was a great year for NIKE golf clothing. The TW line was uninspired as it probably will be this year.

 

Aeroreact and zonal cooking are amazing materials.

 

I am always eager to see if there are any cool apple packages around the majors or release as a one off like the tech packs but I’m not holding my breath.

Absolutely would do it for a few pairs of shoes, and maybe I could get even get some 28W pants......lol.

 

We could design a Nike WRX pack as a "demo", 1 slim fit outfit, and 1 standard.

slim fit flex 5 pocket pant with slits at the hem with a Swoosh and WRX just under right front pocket. Black with wolf grey, Wolf grey with white, waist from 28-42 and a few odd inseam sizes - 29-31-33.

Legit sizing question: so Nike has done away with "modern" fit, correct? If so, has anyone compared a standard small to a modern medium? I'm concerned with the standard small being too short. Thanks in advance.

Nike has 20% addtional off on clearance again. Now it includes the red TW camo shirt that I've wanting it to go on sale. It wasn't on sale in Jan save20. The price changed from $59 to $68 from last night! Wth! I should've ordered it last night, but I ordered it just now...
