Credibility shattered!! ? This crow is tasty! Back on topic: Anyone have information about his current wedge specs?

Dude. It’s not about being right for me. It’s just about the truth. And I Didn’t catch the wood aspect either. So I read the article like you did.

On that link issue. I simply was explaining why I asked for one. Because it wasn’t there when I looked and asked. No worries. I’m not at all trying to be a know it all in a sense of proving you wrong. Just in the sense that I’d like to know same as you.

Great question and agree. I would prefer no TW personally. I was interested in them initially and then they disappeared off of the website. I went with the black version and will soaked them when the black starts to look bad.

Day is an absolutely stellar bunker player. Nothing funny about it. I guarantee they both learn something from each other in a scenario like this.

Yeeeeeeaaaaaa.....no. I’m sure they can appreciate each other’s insight but I doubt Tiger is gonna apply any tips that Day might suggest.

He would be foolish not to at least listen and learn from a continuous improvement standpoint.

Ummmmm...yeah. If you don't think Tiger is paying attention and filtering what Day is saying, looking for anything that can be used to help him improve, then you do not understand how Tiger became Tiger. It has nothing to do with Day giving him tips.

> Curiosity I guess. I'm just really interested in certain players specs and why they play the equipment they do. I find it fascinating that he still uses wood dowels in his irons and moved to lite weight x100 shafts in the early 2000s. The R&D guys and certain players are really smart and know certain things us amateurs just don't have access to. So I will take anything I can learn and try to apply it to my game. He is one of the greatest players of all time and I figure he knows a thing or two about golf equipment.

All of that Secret Squirrel stuff is out in the public domain if you talk to a good club builder.

Thanks for the link, but I've seen this before my friend. It's really not secret spy stuff for Taylormade to release this info. Not sure if they will see this or just continue to ignore a simple request that would be pretty interesting to read. Thanks in advance Taylormade!!!

I need to correct an all too common misunderstanding on TW's shafts. When he used steel in his woods, particularly his driver in the late 90's. It has always been reported that he was using an X100. Well that's how it was referred to but it really wasn't the case. True Temper made a shaft specially for him. The Step downs were slightly closer together than the Dynamic X100s. Not to be confused with the much older original Rocket shaft from the 60's which were closer yet. When both TW and Adam Scott were working with Butch, they had to ask for Tiger's permission to get TT to send that shaft to Adam Scott to use in his driver, which he granted. Butch at the time had TW's duplicate set of Titleist clubs and bag in his office. I was there once when it was just Adam, Butch and I. Truth be told that steel shaft couldn't handle Scott's swing consistently and it was tighter than the X100. He hit shots with a lot of "drift". Graphite improved both of them.

When I asked my rep whether they were planning to release TW's milled grind, I was told that the one on the rack is the same as Tigers... Obviously, this isn't true but shows that they're not looking to release his grinds supposedly. I was told however that black, chrome, and raw hi toes are coming. He didn't mention much about milled grinds in general. I asked about a lower bounce hi toe and they just told me about the colors. Also some sort of myspider level of customization with wedges.

Did they know or say when the new finishes for hi toe would be coming out? I’m looking to pick up some new wedges and would def prefer the hi toe in chrome or black than the current finish.
