New Fujikura Ventus 9X & 10X and Motore F3 shafts - January 2020

have an old fit on pro 95xx in my 5w , which is only a 100g pro 95 shaft ,but  love it , oldest club I have

What’s the flight like with the 10x, have you CPM’d it ?

 

debating a red 9x or black 9x , leaning black bc I feel it’s prob close to my speeder 8.1vc x

I have not CPM’d it but I did tip it 1.5”, and the flight is perfect for me. It actually launched higher than I was anticipating, but spin is low enough that it doesn’t balloon or anything. I’m attributing it to the G410 5W head being naturally higher launching, plus I added 7g head weight by replacing the stock 13g with a 20g, which is located low and rear.

I have a red 9x tipped 2 inches in a sim max 3 wood head, easy high launch, low spin! I don’t need a 3 wood that goes 290.

I put a red 9x tipped 1.5 playing 42 inches total in a original one driver and it is awesome. I swing it a little slower due to the weight but It is control city and still get plenty of distance.

what club would you put it in? My initial reaction is that it would be a bit heavy but that is based on only a small amount of info.

I would be leary of getting a ventus black in a fairway wood.  Initially, I wanted the ventus black 9 or 10x in my 3 metal.  I'm glad I didn't go that route when I got on trackman and looked at the numbers.  I also tested the ventus red 9x as well.  I got the best numbers with the ventus blue and it's mine is tipped 1.5 inches.  Red spun a little bit too much for my liking which is ok on a benign day, but I don't ever want to see my 3 metal ballooning on a windy day.  I probably don't swing as hard as you do but just to give you an idea, I make 115-118 mph ss with driver.

Sure no problem.  No,  it's the blue 8x.  I just had my guy put hot melt in the head to get it up to D5 sw.

one of my favorites and oldest club in the bag / only comes out on +7000 yds or where 2 iron isnt appropriate , fit on pro closer to the red
