Two sets of irons

I have 4 sets. A set of Ping Eye 2's that I never play and keep them in my office. A set of TM Burner 2.0's that I keep at my condo on the AL coast and I use those when there. I have a set of Ping G irons that is my 'backup' set. And a set of Callaway Apex cf16's that is my primary set I use when home. I bought the Apex just a few months ago because I got such a good deal(new) and I liked them so much that they are my gamers. I'll keep the G's just in case I want to change it up.

Still using a set of Wishon 870 ti irons.Cant find any that compare to how I hit these.There are better looking irons out there,but I love these.Cant find another set anywhere

I have two sets of the new PING G 710 irons. One with Steelfiber FC 90 graphite shafts and one with AWT 2.0 steel shafts. Like to switch back and forth until I find a favorite

Love the self-selecting group of golf enthusiasts that this forum attracts. Trying to limit the extra clubs to woods and a putter or two, but the draw to have a back-up set (or a set for visitors, as I'll describe it to my wife) is getting strong!

I used to have a great backup set. Fourteen TB 1000 blades with KBS tour V x shafts. All of my career lows were shot with those irons.....and for some stupid reason I sold them.

I have a "weekday" set that stay in the back of my car for when I can sneak out of work or have a morning meeting with a customer at their office, and a weekend set. Weekday is a combo set of MP32/MP60 that I keep for sentimental reasons, and the weekend set is a combo Srixon 785/585's. Can't ever see buying another set at the moment....

I think it's good to have backup sets, which come from former current sets. I also collect vintage sets. When my current set isn't hitting, I'll often pull out an older set to use for a while. It seems to work.

It is comical how often I swap out my sticks in my bag. I shoot the same scores no matter what, because they are all basically blades or players cavities with the same or very similar shaft profiles. I have 8 different sets of irons.

Probably the most demanding set i have, are the Apex MB's Most forgiving may be the 712CB's or Nike VR Pro Combos. True Temper everything every time. s300 or s400

I have three sets -- MP-4, MP-5 and MP-20 -- the MP-4 are for the trips away when the airline has to handle them My good set does not like to fly..

I have two sets of 565's (same shafts), where one is a back-up/travel set. My main motivation was to build a set of irons, and do a 3/8" gap build. I did not want to mess up my originals, so I bought the heads and shafts separately for the build. I haven't even got around to the 3/8 build yet, as I love the 1/2" build that spec'd out different from the OG's. Maybe some day...

i have 4 sets right now and here's when i use them.

miura mb001 - usually summer time when i practice and play a lot.

scratch ar1 - winter(cold mornings) like right now and usually no practice and just play once a week.

mp29 - travel bag...when i dont care leaving my bag anywhere LOL.

nike ignite - primarily for my guest visitors but play them once in a while just to remind me how GI plays LOL.
