Anybody Purchase MG TB•Zero Yet?

I have TB zero short irons, my TCs start at 7. Here’s a few pics. The double cut isn’t a huge difference, I have a 5 iron regular TC 201 I can take comparison pictures of tomorrow from a sole perspective. I did it because I was going TB in the shirt irons, so wanted soles not so different in apparent thickness.

Not sure of the exact I’d have to look it up but selected +.5mm so a little more onset than standard.

Thanks. I think the head shape has as much to do with the feel as the metal type and quality does.

And I know exactly what you mean about the Miura soft but also firm feel. I prefer it as well. I call it crispy. Very hard to describe. To me it's a subjective "10".

I was chasing soft for a while, then finally hit a miura and much prefer that feel now, more confidence inspiring for me. I’m sure these would feel a touch softer with different shafts.

I also really like the grips one2one uses. They are miura with “SRC” stamped on top, I can’t find any information when googling for them. Individually they seem fairly expensive and I’ve only seen them on eBay it at one2one. Anyone familiar with these?

I was the same way regarding feel, I thought the buttery softness of Mizuno was all I needed until I hit Miuras and experienced that extra crispiness they added. Like hitting a chocolate coated or frozen marshmallow instead of a regular one.

I'm not familiar with the grips you mentioned but if you are chasing a nice feel setup with Miura blades I highly suggest GripMaster grips. I had my baby blades and Retro TBs on rubber or silicone elastomer grips until I went leather on everything. Leather takes the edge off the harsh sting of a miss hit and overall just makes for a better feel and connection to the club as I hold it.

Lastly graphite/steelfibers will significantly change the feel of a Miura blade too. I think it mutes/dulls it too much and I don't like it compare to steel. My buddy has steelfibers on his baby blades and I don't like how they feel as much as with mine with NS Pros.

Ultimately leather grip + SS shaft + blade + Miura forged steel equals the best feeling combination that I can put together.

LOL hence my first question about how the new high Fe concentration Miura forged steel feels. Could anything possibly top my current setup? ?

Have thought about going leather, but I'm sticking to steel shafts. I don't really mind the feel now, in fact i really like it. When you talk about the steel, are you referring to the 520C vs 525C?

The high Fe concentration steel I'm referring to is from when @Diamana_Stinger posted "doing a 99.3% pure FE version of the tb zero". I'm sorry but I sped read the thread and thought that you had this steel in your Miuras. I also thought it was standard to the head. Oops. My bad.
I'm really interested in whether or not Miuras standard steel in my baby blade heads can be improved. And honestly I forgot exactly what type it is. All I know is that it is higher quality than most and then when you add the magic Miura forging process to it, I don't know how that can be improved upon. And can it even be felt? This is my main interest in this thread. Can my baby blades feel even better with that high Fe steel? Only my bank account doesn't want to know. ?

Gotcha, I dont have the 99.3, mine are copper underlay though. My reference point is the MC-501 and these aren't much softer, but different shafts which to me produces very different "feel." I have a set of 99.99% pure Fujimoto MBs I am about to list on BST if you want the purity!

Gotcha too. My reference point is mainly Miura standard steel in their blades and Mizunos standard steel. LOL I only want that purity *if* it could be felt and be a baby blade.

Absolutely different shafts also change the feel. Anything that stands in the way of the pulse force from impact to your hands will affect feel.

"The head arrival schedule from the manufacturer is 6/30. In the current situation, the club will be finished around 7/4"

So, it seems exactly 2 months

Just a heads up for all those awaiting orders, depending on who you ordered through, if they were planning to ship EMS, I would start looking at other options if you want them immediately. I ended up paying the difference for UPS and got them in 2 days to my door. Paid customs, but worth it to have them for the golf season.

Not really. same Miura feel I would say. Shaft is playing a role for me though. Great solid feeling when hit well.
