Vessel 2021 FYI

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I spoke with Vessel today, and they're getting bags back in stock beginning mid-February.  I have Vessel gift cards just burning a hole in my pocket so I got impatient and reached out.  That is all, good day folks!

I have been considering the LUX XV, but it has been out of stock for a long time.  Never owned a Vessel, but am considering.  I considered the mini staff, but I am thinking it is bigger than I want.

There are a couple sites that still have stock of the older versions.  Just got my Black Camo Lite a few days ago...  Looks gorgeous!  Unfortunate being tied to a gift card.

Be careful as i bought one from one of those sites that had it in stock but it took 2 months to get it.  False advertising!  Buy through Vessel once in stock.

Anyone try the Player III walking a lot?  I walk exclusively so I'm just concerned about the weight being 6lb.

I got tired of waiting on the cart bags to be back in stock. So I ordered up the midsize staff after seeing it in one of their Instagram posts on a cart.

I considered that.  Have you received it yet?  I am concerned it will be too big.

I emailed them today and got the same mid February response.... I hate waiting. I'll give them a couple more weeks before I get another sun mountain. I like 14 way dividers, really want to get a vessel. I haven't even seen one in person, they just look so nice in the pictures.

Looks like they have plenty of den caddy in stock.. Ordered mine and received it in less than a week. Black and white was a bit too plain for my taste so I gave my almost 5 yr old daughter a challenge and let her loose. 🤣

So while you guys are waiting on your new bags, feast (or burn) your eyes on this one of a kind creation!

Anyone use one of the Vessel stand bags on a push cart and if so which push cart?  Does the combo do a god job of preventing twisting?  I need both cart and bag and seriously looking at the Player III.

I have a Vessel Player 2.0 on a ClicGear and a Rovic with an EWheels and it works very well. I really like the bag, the quality and all of its features. There is plenty of storage space in the bag and it's very easy to wipe clean.

 

I'm actually am going to order the Player III when available as I'd like  a different colour of bag.

Just talked to Vessel last night. Was told all colors of LUX XV cart bag will be in stock by the end of march. Lux cart 2.0 will not be restocked.

Question for you guys. I have the den caddy/cooler from the Scotty Cameron club membership from last year and I know it’s made by vessel. I really like the material it’s made from and the quality is outstanding. Are the actual bags, say the player 3, the same material and quality? Thanks!

If you don't want to go with the cart bag because of the top, I purchased one of the new 2021 mid-sized staff bags back in Nov and I use it on a Rovic RV1S  with eWheels cart and it's been great.   I too hated the 14/15 way top and chose this bag because of that.   Let me know if you want any info about the bag.

Bear with me - first time taking photos and post from a new iPad.    I set up in basement and wheeled over to a window for some natural light - hopefully the pics come out ok.

Tried to show things I thought you would be interested in.  Let me know if you want more specific pics.  

Had a couple people ask me what size water bottles fit in the holders so I stuck my 36oz Yeti and my wife’s 40oz hydroflask in the holders.  Both fit easily.   Top of bag makes contact with my cart at the two swivel points where the strap attaches (close-up posted).  I used it about 10 times in Nov before hanging things up for winter and have not noticed any wear spots.  I may add a protective sleeve over these two points next year if I notice any wear.  
I was worried the belly pocket on bag might rub against the cart down-tube but that has not been the case.  There is plenty of space between them.  You can even unzip and fully access the belly pocket while the bag is on the cart (close-up photo of my hand).  I keep all my rain gear, hood and other spare things in there - tons of room left.  The only pocket you cannot access while on the cart is the magnetic pocket above the belly pocket.  I use it to keep my car keys, spare set of contacts, credit cards etc (stuff I probably don’t need on course).  If you do need access, it’s easy to just unclip the top strap and tilt the bag forward a few inches (pic attached).
