Nike TW13&14 Am I The Only One Who Misses These?

The TW14 were my favorite shoe. By the time I realized I wouldn’t find any new models like it they were already discontinued. Never bought backup pairs. And haven’t been able to find anything similar since. 

 

I really wish they’d bring that sole back.

My twin brother still wears his ‘13 white pair. (Original owner) the Nike free sole is pretty noice to walk in for being a spiked shoe. I would say the jordan golf shoes have this same sole but they are pretty expensive resale wise. 
the silhouette of ‘13s are very classic. They should definitely re retro them like other shoes.

You’re not the only one. I still have both 13s and 14s hanging around in the back of my closet but they’re beaten down. Great great shoes.

I found a pair of whites brand new on OfferUp last year for $60. Crazy

 

TW15s aren’t far behind.

The 13,14,15 IMO are the best golf shoes of all time simply because of the sole. That sole works so unbelievably well for golf. I got a new pair of the 13’s last year for like $200 and they were a steal at that price. Still in box with tags. The 14’s may have the 13’s beat in the looks department so I’m still on the hunt for a pair of 14’s. I didn’t care for the looks of the 15’s simply because I’m a white golf shoe guy, but the sole is still there and that’s the most important thing. The 13’s and 14’s are the holy grail of golf shoes though IMO.

Couldn’t agree more. We need a rerelease down to my last pairs of the 13’s 15’s and FI Premier which were supposed to be the 16’s when a tiger went back to the 10.5/11’s.

I would love a pair of TW 13 soles + fast fit lacing. I’m sure it wouldn’t look great but it would be super comfortable.

You guys and your extra stashes are making me jealous. Haha. I wonder why they went away from the sole design. I don’t follow shoes much so the answer is probably out there. 
 

After looking at your guys pics, I almost might like the 13 better than the 14. I found a pair of the 15’s in my basement. The red ones that Burlington had a while back. They never quite fit the same.

Damn. $400?? So the demand is there. Just need to start a grass roots effort to bring these back haha.

It was pretty simple Tiger was working back from one of his knee and back injuries and was trying to replicate his former swing style with Chris Cuomo and went back to his own stash of TW10 shoes so with TW touting the latest Hatfield TW15 they took the already developed TW16 and renamed it the FI Premier. Which is the last in the free sole Hatfield free sole/flyweave upper designed shoe. From there Nike Golf needed to get TW in a new shoe so Hatfield and Tiger developed the TW strap 17 and then the one that Tiger loved which was the cheaper lesser quality zoom sole TW71 and then to the present PE TW20...he never wore the TWfastfit launched in 19.

I have no idea why they stopped using this sole it’s by far the best sole to golf and walk in. Developed from a special force boot Nike has, it can be found in a couple of other shoes like the Lupinek which is fantastic too. Hopefully these will retro at some point

I did have a pair of FI Premier that I snagged from Burlington.  I didn't care for the style and they didn't seem as comfortable as the TW shoes.  But, now that you mention it, I do remember those having a very similar sole.

Man, this is so right.  I haven't been able to find anything that was as comfortable while giving me the same level of stability.  I remember towards the end of my pair's life span, when I would wear my newer pair of whatever else I had at the time, I wouldn't seem to play as well.  Would love some sort of rerelease at some point.

I was looking for a pair of premier’s on eBay and came across a used pair that had bids at over $250 and I couldn’t believe it.  My

two pairs I already have are in great shape and clean up so well.  Love the 13’s.

I have a pair of white TW13's, and they have held up very well over the years.  I keep a good rotation among 3 / 4 other brands / types of golf shoes which keeps them in good shape for their age.  The TW13's are my go to shoes for rounds where I walk.

Agreed. My white TW14 and grey TW15s are still in good condition and are in the rotation but I feel like I need new shoes soon. Have not been able to pull the trigger on anything asides some Adidas Tour 360s.
