Limited edition putters releases to existing members. They have dot alignments which leaves me on the fence!

they look great but my current putter is perfect.

The email for the putters has got me typing my iron email.

How secure are the necks on Artisan’s two piece putters? Are the necks just epoxied on?

Yep.  There’s an epoxy port at the bottom of the neck right by the artisan star

Few questions for anyone in the know…

is Artisan’s plumbers neck 1-shaft offset or less?

also I like the look of their s neck but don’t need that much toe hang..anyone know if they make A. longer s bend neck or B. Can adjust toe hang

thank you

Both of my Artisans are long neck plumbers neck blades.  Looks like a full 1-shaft offset.  Both are perfectly face balanced.  I have zero doubt that John can build you pretty much anything you need.  Bonus - shots include disinterested Bärli.

Their long s bend has 0.25 offset. Short s bend has more toe hang than plumber neck. The more blue finish/purple paint is the long S bend, the lighter paint is the short S bend.

Is there an ideal and less than ideal time to go get fit at Artisan?

Flights and hotels are the cheapest in winter for me but what do they do during the winter there?

I did my wedge fitting amost 4 years ago January on a 40 degree morning which warmed up to mid 50's by the time I did the putter fitting. December/January in DFW area averages Hi upper 50s Lows upper 30s. Area doesn't really snow or ice unless a there's a one off front coming through.

I did putter in July.

i did wedges in January.

one had frost on arrival then a nice sunny day, the other I melted. Both were awesome.

personally I would go April time if I had the ideal conditions or early November. Be practiced going in not to let yourself down. I was horrendous at my wedge fitting; not touched a club in 3 months and that was not a great idea, my wedges are awesome though!

That's good to know I'd rather go when expenses are on the cheaper end, for me 50s I would have zero issues with as long as it was sunny I'll just have a 1/4 zip and pants on when putting.

Unfortunately no wedges for me because lefty but good to know, I'm planning an AZ trip in November so if I do an Artisan trip will be April-ish I guess when it starts to warm up.

Basically have almost everything else except an Artisan and I really want to go through their entire process and see the facility and what not.

Meeting John and Mike, doing a fitting and seeing the facility is worth the fitting fee IMO.

Exactly I want the experience, plus I'll roll in there with a rack of Miller Lite for them.

From social media I know they keep Miller Lite in their fridge so I'll bring em what they like.

last time I’ll annoy this thread! I promise but anyone notice the description of these limited putters is forged not milled?

is it really a forged putter or did they just use the word forge as like created..tried to ask artisan directly but haven’t heard back

Would they be referring to the starting block of steel being forged as opposed to cast?  I'm not a metals guy so for whatever that is worth or not worth.
